I think low IQ and lack of education is prime reason. You can’t reason with them.

I agree.. anyone with common sense knows at this point it is all over.. only those emotionally invested in the vote can be unable to see it is over...

Wow, Jenny, you must be so intelligent and educated to be a Trump supporter. I bet it must make you feel really good to know how much smarter and better educated you are than all those stupid Cruz supporters. By the way, I have been a Cruz supporter for most of this campaign. I have an advanced degree in law (with honors) and the last time I had to take an IQ test I was at 140. You must be something really special. How's that cure for cancer coming?

The best boss I ever had said "trust the resume". It wasn't lack of education. It took awhile for us to see the real Cruz. We didn't read the whole resume (we still haven't) and because of that we were fooled.

I'm a Trump supporter but I don't think that is it. People pick a candidate and want to feel good about their choice. They want to believe in their candidate. That's the emotion that tags along with a choice for President. Americans are also a loyal bunch. Once they've made a choice they want to give you every opportunity to prove you are worthy of their support. It's hard for them to switch because subconsciously no one wants to admit an error in judgement.

For most people however once their candidate doesn't really have a chance of winning they will come around to support the next person they believe has a chance to become President. In Cruz's case he has help to speed up that process by playing back room games with the process. Americans are basically a fair people and we don't like tactics that suppress the vote of the people.

When you think about it. It may be legal to do what Ted Cruz is doing. But it's also legal for the GOPe to give Obama everything he wants. Once you know a guy will play these kinds of games how do you trust him to stay true to his campaign promises? There's nothing illegal about ignoring those promises. The voters didn't really vote the delegates did and the electoral college did. So for Cruz to get into bed with Kasich, not to unify the party, but to separate it, few people can see that as a good thing.

The key now is will voters in the remaining states weigh in on this and put this to rest? Will they keep the Trump momentum going or will they fall prey to these unfair tactics. Right now more than ever the last states to vote can send a unifying message to the GOPe to get behind the front runner and go after Hillary and win the Presidency. We shall see how it plays out. But imagine the message if states that were pro-Cruz were to suddenly switch to Trump in the waning days of the primaries. . .
