You don’t want him attacking people he’s fighting against?
The primary ended when Cruz couldn’t win and was reduced to the role of nothing more than attempted spoiler. Trump is the presumptive nominee.

If Trump gets the nomination I will more than likely vote for him. But till then I remain cautious. And after the election I will remain cautious. Of course I am just tired of people being elected and not following threw with what they campaigned on. And that is one of the big things about Trump for me is that I am more cautious with him because of past statements by him.
That'll probably work much better than standing there yapping about "comprehensive immigration reform" for another 8 years.
We need someone with bold vision AND enough backbone to actually get something done. I don't think that's Cruz.

Take my advice. Pray for three days and three nights. If you cannot at that time accept the ruling from the chair that Donald Trump is the presumptive nominee on Free Republic, take some time off.
That’s more than fair enough to be cautious. You’d be silly not to be. :-)
I guess the who we trust thing comes down to our different life experiences. I trust that Trump is sincere, not because I blindly believe him, but because I have analyzed his possible motives and I see far less possible downside to him than I do to a career politician. Especially considering that career politicians have never NOT let me down.
It makes logical sense to me to try something new when clearly what we’ve been doing has not been working for a very long time.
Most of all, I want to beat Hillary and we can do that if we all stop beating each other up. There is no perfect candidate and Trump is no exception by a long shot. But if we’re lucky and he is successful in implementing his stated agenda, I imagine we’d all be pretty happy with that.

When he goes on and attacks people personally all my alarms go off. So it is hard to get past that. That is all I am getting at. That added to my misgivings of his past make it very hard to listen to his speeches.
I have been saying for a while now that Trump supporters and Cruz supporters are closer in view than any other groups. It makes no sense to attack each other. I have attacked some personally myself in frustration but have changed my stance. Both Trump and Cruz supporters want conservative values to succeed so they should be the last groups attacking each other.
When a Trump supporter attacks me personally that just reinforces my misgivings about Trump and turns me further off from actually listening to what Trump has to say. I am sure that Trump supporters feel the same way when attacked by Cruz supporters. So now you understand my change from personal attacks.
Bottom line we know the devil does not wear Prada she wears pantsuits and is married to bill.

I guess great speeches make a great president ... great support of the people is just an inconvenience to those who don’t have it but who make great speeches.
Tilting at windmill is is unbecoming.
Donald (who started the longed for revolution against our corrupt government, president and politicians) is at the present time, speaking to us in our own language we use when we complain.
He understands that when elected, this will not be acceptable and conduct himself in a presidential manner.
He WILL build the wall. If he runs into lawsuits and other roadblocks, he WILL beef up border patrol and secure the border in the meantime.
It is crucial that the flood of criminal invaders across the border be stopped!
Texas alone has suffered almost 600,000 crimes at the hands of these invaders.
Cruz is soft on immigration and amnesty.

That’s it in a nutshell. If people don’t get it at this point it’s because they choose to not get it. This has been beat to death with words, now it’s time for action. Get on the Trump Train because it’s leaving the station, next stop Pennsylvania Ave.!
Now, or back when the race began and the tone was set in the initial debates?
Those purges were of people who supported liberal/moderate candidates, not those supporting conservative candidates. If people start getting banned for supporting conservatism, then how can this site be supporting conservatism?
