A few weeks back, with thinly disguised excitement, Rush Limbaugh told us the Republican Establishment was going to start an All out 100 days of steady attacks against Donald Trump. Oh they are going to throw everything plus the kitchen sink at Trump and finally destroy him, we were told in ominous tones.
Listening to this friendly warning directed at those of us who are Trump supporters was difficult; not because we believed Trumps conservative enemies could actually hurt him, but because it was clear that Limbaugh really believed they could. He was pouring his credibility into the gutter to support a candidate who cant get Republicans to vote for him and has therefore fallen back on lawyerly tricks to steal delegates.
Worse still, during the first week of the dreaded 100 days of attacks Limbaugh repeatedly told us that Ted Cruzs big Wisconsin victory had given him momentum. Limbaugh then began making up numbers, telling us that Cruz had now won a series of primaries. It was sad to listen.
During week two of the dreaded 100 days of attacks on Trump, after the Colorado Disaster, Limbaugh sank deeper and deeper as he spent hours lecturing us on how honest the Colorado primary was even without voters.
Then came Wyoming, a state owned by Dick Cheney, Mister Establishment himself. Again Cruz won a BIG voterless victory. We can expect more of the same from Limbaugh this week.
So what has the GOPe accomplished so far in its epic 100 days of attacks on Trump?
After stealing a few dozen delegates, Cruz has lost support across...

This is why it is hard to listen to Rush Limbaugh these days.
I don’t know the outcome, but I suspect that today will show this nation just how ‘slumped’ the Trump campaign.
It is my feeling that actual VOTERS there will respond to Senator Cruz’ tactic of delegate pandering and influence in a very clear way. We’ll see tonight.
In the aftermath Senator Cruz and his vultures can scavenge among the fallen and pick a few bones for 2nd Convention Vote rally, but this night, and nights to follow may just well vex his plan. Abandoning voters for delegates for the second round convention vote will backfire on him. My two cents.
I have noticed the Limbaugh show has become Cruzlim central on most days lately.
Trump=Bob bag
GOPe are dead Jim.
Rush knows nothing about drive by America and disgust with the establishment liars. He’s a multimillionaire living in a Florida palatial compound with a G5/6 nearby at his beck and call to take him to dinner or to golf or to vacay wherever. He smokes cigars that could feed my wife and I for days, at least.
If somebody can show me where this man has ever been in a grocery store with a cart in the last 20 years, I’ll reconsider my opinion. But as it is, I don’t have anything in common with him other than being able to speak English.
The GOP excels at LOSING!! It’s all they know!
From Orbit. It’s the only way to be sure.
Rush must have been planning on launching a GOP-E spinoff of his show. That’s about the only thing that makes sense out of his behavior of late.
This is the political party that was going to be more inclusive, to attract new votes. The only new voters are for Trump. It's mind-boggling that the party elite are so completely disdainful of voters. They don't even hide it anymore.
Rush started his attacks on Trump 100 days ago, he even was belittling Trump supporters who listen to him.
Even though Rush has toned it down some, I won’t listen anymore.
It’s hard to find any evidence in the polling that Trump has not gained since the 100 days started.
Yes, St. Ted is stealing delegates-—but those are only meaningful in round two. There won’t be a round two, and if there is, St. Ted will be shocked to find that the GOPe will not let him win.
Blizzard like conditions in Colorado, historic flooding in Texas. Think God is speaking to someone?
Brilliantly stated
This is why it is hard to listen to Rush Limbaugh these days.
And I have loved Rush for decades, me too!
He is all over the place lately.
not to worry, the establishment has e vote counting machines to guarantee they get their person in to the WH
my wife stuck a live video from her iPhone in my face last night from Buffalo. The median would only say “lots” of attendees. There were too many to fit on one screen where you could pick a person recognizably. Ted Cruz never met so many at one time. Not in his whole career.
Agree completely. Is this the twilight of the so-called conservative radio?
