Glenn Beck appeared on NBCs Meet the Press with Chuck Todd Sunday morning to discuss the possibility of an open Republican presidential convention. Todd began by noting that an open convention would deny the Republican nomination to both front-runner Donald Trump and Ted Cruz, whom Beck has openly endorsed.
Weve heard it from many people that are Cruz supporters and
Trump supporters over the airwaves, who are concerned that somehow the party establishment may deny both of them, Todd said.
He asked Beck how conservatives would respond to such an outcome.
I think it would be the end of the GOP, Beck stated. I dont think its going to happen. FiveThirtyEight.com just said that Ted Cruz has a 61 percent of chance winning California. Ted Cruz has won the last 10 in a row, with Utah, North Dakota, Wisconsin and Colorado. I just dont see it happening.
Todd asked Beck if Paul Ryan were to end up being the Republican nominee, would that be the end of the GOP?
I think it would be very bad, Beck said....

He says that as though it would be a bad thing. There would be another group to replace them, before you could blink an eye. Someone’s going to take those reins of power.

Disingenuous BS from Beck. If Cruz Steals the nomination it will be the death of the GOP.

Funny...Beck has done NOTHING but bash Trump, day in, day out for the past months.
To now attempt to sound like he is somehow defending Trump, by trying to piggyback cRuz onto Trump’s defense...is not only hypocritical, but infuriating. Beck in no way has Trump’s - or Trump’s supporters, who he called Brown shirts - best interests in mind.
Buzz off, Beck. There is no longer ANY value in what you have to say.

If Trump gets 1237 delegates and is denied the nomination, he should go third party.
Same for Cruz.

The divorce happened eons ago, but the move out is what will cause the turmoil now . What sucks is Beck & Levin might accelerate it in the throws of a campaign that will determine SCOTUS and if we survive as the US or we devolve further into Denmark. Every once and a while it is time for members of a family to shut up and get it done in a crisis. Maybe this is time for them ( and all like them ) to put your personal baggage aside ( I think a lot of it is coming in this election cycle ) and get-r-done, but that is just me...

End of the GOP? Total b/s. There will always be a party to oppose Clinton and the libs, and oppose them at every office they seek. If neither Trump or Cruz gets 51%, neither have any more right to the nomination than I do. No matter who the Republicans nominate, current polls not with standing, that candidate will be competitive. Clinton and Sanders are that bad.

Beck is worthless. He's worse than worthless. A fifth wheel is worthless. Beck is downright dangerous, like an infected appendix or a ruptured aorta.

There's more Republicans in office than any time since the 1920s. People spend too much time worshiping Presidential candidates.

It doesn't matter if a Republican or Democrat is elected to the White House. Either way, America loses. Too many believe that one party or the other allows us to "just lose a little better." For those who tell us that a third party will "split the vote," we ask them: How do you justify that statement? Do you realize that's only a myth? Does a party "own" your vote? Do two parties "own" every vote? Our party will not take any votes away from the Republican or Democratic party. Those voting for our candidates are not "owned" by the Republicans or the Democrats. Our voters have declared that they own their own votes and will no longer cast a ballot with a horrible option on it, just to vote AGAINST the "other" party. They are voting FOR candidates which will represent them. But to help you understand the "split vote" myth, the two parties have created this to perpetuate their existence. Either you vote against the "other" party or stay home is the demand by the two parties. Why would they do that? Because if a third party receive about 7 million votes (5%) it raises that party to recognized status and they no longer wield absolute power. They will be forced to face us and to bring great candidates to the table, not lousy ones to maintain power. If you are stuck on the false premise that Ross Perot put Clinton in office, know that Clinton only received 6 million votes more than Bush but 20 million registered Republicans stayed home and Perot received ZERO electoral votes. But that is used to scare you into voting two party or stay home while a Democrat wearing a blue tie is elected, or a Democrat wearing a red tie. After all, Senator McCain and Congressman Ryan have voted to pass the agendas of President Obama and both were recent GOP Presidential ticket members. So voting for us is voting FOR America and ending the current system. And we did not even discuss the 12th Amendment where a strong enough third party candidate will guarantee the Republicans the White House, for those afraid a Democrat will win. #VPA #VPofA @VetsPA www.vpofa.org www.veteranspartyofamerica.org www.chriskeniston2016.com

Denmark will look good compared to what the USA will be. At least Denmark is trying to get its act together (we have friends who live there). FYI, the retirement age to get your gov’t pension in Denmark is 70 yr. Libs here will die before they agree to that.
