Ouch!!! A 65% increase in healthcare premiums??? That is crazy. How are people affording that, in CA...with all of the other taxes??

Koim the rebellion better not become an internet meme or I’m going to have to hold you accountable. :)

Great post! An even greater achievement for having thumbed it out on a smartphone.

I went mini-Galt in 2013, tiring of feeding the beast the year I calculated my taxes were buying some lucky yutes $200 Air Jordans, several basketball teams worth.
Haven’t regretted my decision, seeing Nobama writing checks, as just one ex. $500 mil last month to the UN to fight global warming.
They’re getting a much smaller piece of pie from me.
I’ll re-join the rat race sometime early next year.
Hang in there, been there, done that.

Yeah, We’re paying $1,900 a Month not including Copays and Drugs. Add that in and we’re at about $25,000 a Year.

We have an HMO and I have to stick with it because I don’t want to change my Primary Physician and Oncologist.

They’ve kept me alive for ten Years since I was diagnosed with Leukemia so I don’t want to change Horses in the middle of the Stream.

I still have over two Years before I can get Medicare so I’m hoping we can pull it off until then. It should save us some money if the Medicare Supplement Plans don’t get too expensive by then.

Probably going to sell the House sooner or later. Our IRA’s are getting killed. Not quite the way we planned it, but you do what you have to do.

No complaints, until I have to write the Checks on April 15th that is. LOL #;^)

Outside of my Medical stuff, we really can’t leave the area for cheaper pastures.

My Father is 93 and lives close by and we pretty much take of him. He lives by himself and no longer drives (thank goodness). He gets around the Neighborhood on his Motorized Chair and his Walker, so he is always into something.

He is in pretty good shape but he is a handful. Way too trusting and he is an (non practicing) Alcoholic. Makes for some interesting “discussions”. Stubborn as a Mule.

Sadly though the American people have no compassion for you who are part of the “filthy rich” in their book.

Who would have ever thought that the biggest enemy of an American IRA was the people’s own elected government?

Cruz was on the radio with Hannity yesterday. Hannity asked him. You have said Kasich should drop out because he cant get the 1237. What if you cant get the 1237, will you drop out? And Cruz said NO! “If Donald is the nominee, Hillary wins”. That did it for me. Cruz wants the brokered convention. Guess he was promised his 30 pieces of silver.

$24,000 a Year for our Healthcare

Eeek is the family friendly version of my response to hearing that.
