Because Cruz would lose, and by a large margin, against either of the Democrat contenders.
No they didn’t the party mostly picks the delegates.
Are you that sure that Trump will win, considering that upwards of 70% of women will vote for Hillary?
My mistake. I though you were saying that no one commented on his threads. I now
understand you were saying he never commented on his threads. My bad.
My biggest problem is with GOPe. I have really grown to detest them and their tactics. Now that they and Cruz have joined forces it makes me real, real hesitent to support Cruz. It is a lot easier to say FU to all of them.
Hes not an appealing candidate, as the results from Texas 2012 and 2016 tell us.
... except for when he beat the sitting GOPe candidate in the primary against all odds and the hierarchy... yeah, just not appealing except to a majority of Texans of all races and parties, sheeeesh such indepth thinking on FR....
ymmv
I think he would do far better than Ted would. What is Ted’s unfavorable rating as far as women go?
All the rest is nonsense because he was never for Cruz - he posts incessantly that he is a Trump guy.
Wish he would be honest - with himself moreover.
Winner of the most asinine post of the day. Congrats!
Not in Tennessee.
Thursday, December 10, 2015
Donald J. Trump for President Inc. announced Thursday that the campaign has officially filed a full slate of state delegates to appear on the ballot in the Tennessee 2016 Primary. The campaign said the Tennessee slate of 82 potential delegates, the most allowed under state law, "includes veterans, elected officials and many first time delegates who are drawn to participate in the political process because of Mr. Trumps candidacy and his vision to Make America Great Again."
Looks to me that in TN, Trump picked his delegates.
Yep. Pretty much sums it up for me.
If so, he could fix that by joining forces with Trump pre convention...put them over the top as a joint team.
Vote Cruz if you think more lawyers is the answer.
Vote Trump if you more lawyers is a problem.
So you’d wish death on him. How Trump-like of you!
Cruz got a lower percentage of the TX vote than Romney did in Nov 2012. I think most FReepers would agree Romney is the benchmark for candidate mediocrity. Then Cruz failed to get even a majority in his 2016 home state POTUS primary, and finished with about half of what W. Bush did in 2000.
I’m not arguing his philosophy, the guy just doesn’t “sell” well as a candidate. Perhaps he will improve over time, he’s just in his 40s and will be around for decades to come.
