(Vanity) 9th book launched

Just a quick personal-joy vanity. I have released my 9th book into the wild and I feel so blessed that I live in a country and time where I can pursue a career based on my ability to entertain people through my writing.

Almost four years ago, I lost my job and started this new stage of my life by releasing my first novel. Since then, I have had a few very successful books and a few unsuccessful books, but I am exceptionally proud of my newest one. With each book I become a stronger writer and story-teller, and my base of fans keeps growing. This book is the first in a three book series, and I plan on having all three books out this year.

Freepers have always been very supportive of me and other writers who inhabit this website. While politics is at a fevered pitch right now, it's always good to remember that life continues outside of the political arena. Have a blessed day everyone, and don't forget to read something today!

The first book of my new series 'The Fall of Atlantis'. So very thrilled with the cover and the book turned out fantastic.

Cool, when is HBO making it into a series? Will there be mermen? Tell me there’s gonna be mermen!

Sorry, this is before Atlantis sinks. It’s an early bronze age setting and builds up to the destruction of the continent.

You should write a book about Lazamataz. I bet everyone would believe it to be fiction; but his real life and FReeper life would make for one interesting novel.

Good luck with your novel. Stick to it and get it finished. Finishing the story is the hardest part, so get that done and you are ahead of 99% of writers who start writing a book.

Read some online reviews of your other books and they look good, so here’s a bttt.

Ok but it’s a series, so you can add the mermen into the next book :)

That price will go up overnight, it’s just the price to celebrate the launch.

I’ve longed to write, all of my life. Life, the universe and everything decreed that I had to get the mortgage paid, so although I did several things I’m proud of (some of it professional, a lot of it amateur (that was my BEST stuff!), I couldn’t afford to do it full time. Got laid off a few years ago (twice, actually) and tried then, but couldn’t make enough, quickly enough, to make a living. The most I could do to bring in fast bucks was the click per read stuff online (writing how to, things like that). The best of luck to you! When I retire, I’m going to start up again.

My experience is close to yours. After retirement, I started writing full time.

I am now up to nearly minimum wage, and loving it.

Sincere congratulations. My dream is to become a published writer, no let me rephrase that -my dream is to write a book worthy of publishing. My humble attempts with my children book series, I run by my test group. I remind them to give me an honest answer to my only question. Where they entertained? I also remind them I was in 13 and 17 hours respectively, hard labor giving them birth. I want both the adult reading and the child listening to be entertained. With a little vocabulary building stealthily inserted. Is your book available on Amazon?
