What David Duke has to say
Canada Free Press ^ | 03/01/16 | Arthur Weinreb

Media and the Republican establishment will continue their attempts to make Trump out to be a racist to secure a Clinton presidency in November

The mainstream media has been obsessed over Donald Trump’s refusal to disavow the former Klu Klux Klan leader when interviewed on the weekend by CNN’s Jake Tapper. Trump did not disavow “Duke and the KKK” and later explained he had a faulty earpiece and did not hear the question properly. Tapper mentioned “other groups” and Trump said he would have to know the names of these groups so he can research them before he says whether or not he will refuse their support.

Whether you believe the earpiece excuse or not, the fact remains Trump did disavow a Duke endorsement two days before his Tapper interview. While the mainstream media is obsessed with Trump, they don’t seem the least bit interested in what Duke actually said or did not say.

Duke hasn’t been in the Klan for about 30 years, and hasn’t even lived in the United States for the last 10 or 15 years. As a private citizen he has the right to say whatever he wants, there is no proof that Trump sought his endorsement.

I would be willing to bet that if someone really shakes Bill and Hillary Clinton’s tree, there will be more than one Klansman fall out since they were involved in democrat politics in AR back when there still was a real Klan operating. Then there is Robert Byrd, a famous Klansman, and who Hillary expressed her great admiration of. Then there was Hugo Black whom FDR appointed to the Supreme Court, a very solid Klansman, who wrote the “separation of church and state” ruling. Then there is Margaret Sanger, who also was a supporter of the Klan, and is a democrat hero.

“In 1980, Duke left the Klan and formed the National Association for the Advancement of White People (NAAWP), a white nationalist organization.”

Duke said he has never endorsed Trump.

The media has engineered a false premise, that Duke endorsed Trump, and was going to go after Trump pretty much irrespective of what he said.

Never mind these two facts:

1) Trump had already repudiated any support by Duke.
2) Duke never endorsed him.

This was an MSM set-up all along, and now the GOPe is trying to latch onto it...truth be damned.

I knew when Trump started to look like he was going to take it all, that the Democrats and their RINO/GOPe collaborators would drag out their old mainstay smear tactic --- have some KKK person claim that he is going to vote for Trump or whoever. They do it every single time.

I've watched the political scene in America for decades. Every time someone becomes popular who the governing political establishment doesn't like, out come the KKK, David Duke, or claims of being a white supremacist racist. Every single time.

Duke said he has never endorsed Trump.

Come on, man.

Duke reasoned that “voting against Donald Trump at this point is really treason to your heritage.”

“I’m not saying I endorse everything about Trump, in fact I haven’t formally endorsed him," Duke continued.

"But I do support his candidacy, and I support voting for him as a strategic action. I hope he does everything we hope he will do.”
