LOL! Elon doesn’t have much time left with his biggest supporter in scams, he’ll be out of office in less than a year.
Isn’t this the same cat who, during an interview, remarked at how terrible it was that the average peasant is allowed to drive “two-ton death machines”?
Don’t be silly. I use my electric vehicle all the time. It can be a long way back to the clubhouse from parts of the back 9, you know.
“...two ton death machine...”
Torn between a visual of the cake mobile in Animal House and a strong desire to put a lift kit in my truck.
I hear ya. Both perfectly acceptable. :-)
To me, the biggest ‘overpromises’ that Tesla has made to many of its buyers is a cross country network of free charging stations. Its their method of getting buyers past range anxiety. The article cites a plan to build 300 this year...we shall see.
One of these stations is near me. Its fairly simple, but still it must be at least a quarter million dollars invested.
I’ve seen only seen a car actually charging at it once.
The station is on the property of an Arby’s restaurant. I think the idea is people would go into the Arby’s to eat, while waiting for a charge...and for this, Arby’s allows the installation of the chargers (and massive transformer). This way Tesla doesn’t own any property and pay real estate taxes.
But will restaurants continue with this arrangement, if it really brings them practically zero customers?
I wouldn’t buy.
I traded for a living for years. I was the short queen. First lesson I learned......they can outlast your money. Lol
I had a hard rule when something went against me and always stuck to it. The result was I was always net positive at the end of the day.
Tesla certainly does sound more and more like a PONZI SCHEME than a legitimate automobile manufacturer.
