Cruz was not only talking about defending Christianity before Trump got in, he was doing it, arguing for religious liberty before the Supreme Court. Cruz and Huckabee were the only two to visit Kim Davis in jail, while Trump offered her only mealy-mouthed verbal statements. Cruz also was part of a pubic effort that helped take down the Gang of Amnesty bill. Trump talks. Cruz does.

Wrong, Cruz has already named two justices who he would’ve nominated over John Roberts.

Excellent article!

And the judges Ted Cruz picks will be excellent, and here’s more proof why:

Cruz is a Bushie and called Roberts his “mentor”.

Look I’m sorry Cruz has proved his GOPe stripes at the last minute. Just face it.

You mean the Cruz Shame on You mailer?

I think it will be the last minute voting seesaw effect, whatever happens will happen. Probably today is just a day to just sit back and wait. Myself i’m going swimming in a couple of hours.

I’m also really sick of Cruz saying all the right things but never accomplishing anything but agitation and consternation for conservatives.

Why the Canada Derangement Syndrome? Afraid Cruz is going to sell us out to the Canadian Bacon lobby?

Every poll shows Cruz beats Clinton while Trump always does worse and often loses to her. Can you not understand that many people don’t want to elect a rude, vulgar adulterer as President?

http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2016/president/2016_presidential_race.html

Poll averages:

Cruz beats Clinton by +1.3
Clinton beats Trump by +2.7

Roberts is a great justice except for his Obamacare blind spot. No one who supported him predicted that would happen. But Cruz explained in one debate his strategy for picking justices would include looking at ones with more on-the-record statements about their views.

Cruz lacks discernment and obviously lacked the insight to see whatever it was the Roberts was being blackmailed over.

But you knew that.

He doesn't cause me agitation. Boehner, Ryan and McConnell do that. Even Trent Lott had to admit he might be wrong about criticizing Cruz' tactics based on the GOP sweep in the mid-terms that followed his Obamacare shutdown.

Where was Ted Cruz when the state of Texas battled the homosexuals in at the Supreme Court. Lawrence v. Texas is to same sex marraige as Rode v Wade was to abortion. Cruz was Texas top attoney why did he take a pass on defending Texas.

Let me amend that to say one poll on that page shows Clinton beating both, but she beats Trump by more.

Cruz is GOPe and has been used by Rove et all as a distraction for conservatives since day one.

It’s all an act. Cut bait now.

Knowing your Canadian citizen status will upset the conservative base is a purposeful, devious position. No honest Christian leader would subject his base to this sort of chaos.

Ted Cruz was a Constitutional lawyer, who gaduated magna cum laud, and clerked for Justice Rehnquist.

Senator Cruz will pick really GREAT judges. WHY? Cuz he knows the courts, and is PRINCIPLED, including TRULY pro-life.

Donald Trump is an anti-Constitution self-server, who would pick anti-Constitutional judges, such as the liberal judges who voted for eminent domain for PRIVATE use.

“Trump: Eminent Domain, Even For Private Projects Is ‘Wonderful Thing,’ ‘You’re Not Taking Property’”

Visit http://www.breitbart.com/video/2015/10/06/trump-eminent-domain-even-for-private-projects-is-wonderful-thing-youre-not-taking-property/

TRUMP: “As far as single payer, it works in Canada. It works incredibly well in Scotland.”

The very thought of Mr. Trump picking judges is downright scarry.

Cruz highlights two instances in which he worked as solicitor general to protect traditional marriage, including a letter to Congress with then-Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott in support of the Defense of Marriage Act, a U.S. law that defined marriage as a heterosexual union.

While in the Senate, Cruz sponsored the State Marriage Defense Act, which sought to protect the 33 states that define marriage as a union between one man and one woman.

He filed two bills in the Senate last week, including one to create a constitutional amendment protecting states that bar same-sex marriage after campaign appearances in Iowa where he cast himself as the leading Republican opponent of same-sex marriage and accused the gay community of waging a “jihad’’ against religious freedom laws.
