Years ago I looked at some of the footage from I think it was Apollo 15.

My conclusion?
By looking at the sand falls after they step on the ground and kick up a cloud, there is no doubt in my mind, no doubt at all. They are in an airless environment.

If they had faked the landing, they would have done a couple more to justify their budget.
