How does one predict this crap. 7 years ago, I thought for sure that we were going to be the ones with our currency collapsing, so I prepped-up, big time, with a supply that’s still good for years. Canada seemed more responsible and stable.
...wow, did I get that wrong.

Canada has a resource based economy. No one is using those resources, no economy. Mining, petroleum, timber...
No Keystone XL cut an outlet for the oil being produced there, and with low prices, that hurts, too.

Canada’s government is in much better fiscal shape than the USA. In my opinion Canadian assets are right now an excellent investment.

Jet helps you move quickly during a battle encounter, I suggest using plasma-based weapons if you face a Deathclaw.

Many stores raise the previous price to make customers think they’re getting a real bargain for “today’s” price. Whatever the true price used to be, the sign clearly states $5.99 for a 3 count. That’s $2 each and those are the higher priced wrapped ones. Convert Canadian dollars to US would bring each wrapped English cucumber to $1.39. And off season will cause prices to rise on fruits and vegetables. I don’t know what those expensive wrapped English cucumbers are in the US because I’d never buy such a pretentious vegetable. This week’s HEB sales circular sale price for Hot House Cucumbers is 98 cents so I fail to see why Canadians are freaking out. I grow my own on the backyard fence so only eat them in season.
We don’t know what size that box of Frosted Flakes is. It’s US price is $10.45. At whatever price, no one needs cereal and certainly not the higher priced name brand.
I haven’t bought bacon in so long because of the high US prices. IIRC, it’s about $7 but don’t know if that’s 1 lb or 12 oz. Either way, that $11.39 converts to $7.93 US. Again, not that much difference in price. Canadians could wait until it’s on sale.

I told a credulous friend the other day that I thought Fallout 4 was actually a country-wide rehearsal for the immediate future. You'd be surprised how many people think it's a game.
