‘Humans Could Evolve Webbed Feet if Sea Levels Rise’
That’s completely insane! Webbed feet are worthless unless humans also develop gills.

This is just ducky. If only soldiers could have done this and avoided trench foot.

However, even in Vonnegut's book the evolution of webbed feet took a million years.

libs call these birth defects. No mother could want to bring deformed children into this cruel world. They abort them before it could possibly catch on as an evolutionary trend
To: SunkenCiv
OK Civ, help me here. I swear I read an article recently that humans may have spent a brief semi-aquatic phase during our evolution, presumably to deal with flooded savannas during warmer periods. They offered the slight webbing in our hands as proof. Do you remember that, did I read it here?

When we turn into fish, that’ll kill the clothing and shoe industry. And what about my cell phone? Can you hear me at this depth?

I must say, people who believe we evolved from rocks will believe anything.

Fry: Now that you mention it, I do have trouble breathing underwater sometimes. I'll take the gills.
Organ Dealer: Yes, gills. Then, uh, you don't need lungs anymore, is right?
Fry: Can't imagine why I would.
Organ Dealer: Lie down on table. I take lungs now, gills come next week.
