I’ve been here for 15 years. Unlike many current posters, I’ve been a true conservative all of my life, and never had to my change position on anything. I am a person who follows biblical principles, and winning only counts if it is done with honor.
If calling the current state of FR becoming a Trump circus is an insult, then who is being insulted? It is a statement of fact that many of us long time FReepers are astounded by. If JR is a Trump supporter why would he be insulted by point out the obvious?
If you have such disdain for the state of FR, you are welcome to leave.

I was a BIG Cruz supporter when he was running for the Senate; however, slowly, over time, he's done things that have REALLY annoyed me and later has used WEASEL WORDS to pretend otherwise, which has annoyed me even more.
Neither do I like the flip flops, Ted's taking on the persona/stances of first Rand, then someone else ( I forget who it was at the moment ) , and now Trump. And please don't tell me that he said these things "first"/before, because that's just NOT so.
Now throw in getting unasked for ads/begging letters on the cell and you and your pals here, for that matter, and Cruz is NOT doing well with me.

Only a year ago and Ann Coulter would have been slammed on every thread on FR. Now, meh. That is the state of decay here. Once you start compromising on principles in order to win, the decay is rapid.

I’m sorry if you misunderstood my post. I’m referring to the anger. I received the post that said Cruz was too extreme on abortion, but the poster didn’t mention anything about being a Trump supporter. I too am a Cruz supporter or a Trump supporter. I have donated to Cruz’ campaign. Being in Wisconsin, we will see where things are at in March. I don not trust the GOPe with a brokered convention. And fanatics was mentioned about both candidates supporters, not just Cruz supporters. Come on people, the enemy isn’t each other. I don’t know how far Trump’s campaign will go but if not for Trump, the guy with the most money would win. Jeb would be the candidate. Trump formed this election. And what the topics would be. We should all be thankful for that.
I guess that I was misguided in supposing that you might now be civil and adult. That won't happen ever again; deary.
