I agree. Although Fracking is banned in some states on the East Coast like PA and NY just to name a few.

In the end, it would seem to me someone must cause both Sunnis and Shiites to put aside their differences and join forces against a common enemy. Erdogan and Obama are both candidates, IMO. The variants of Islam are causing damage to one another now.
I remember George W. Bush talking about how we would get them fighting with one another, in one of his speeches - well that's certainly been accomplish - but with great collateral damage to innocents in the M.E. Obama has raised the desolation exponentially.
So yes, I believe SA, Turkey, & Iran will try to draw the US and other world powers into a world war; partially to weaken the three main superpowers (US, Russia, China), and to see who gets to establish a Islamic Caliphate.
The US may not survive a nuclear confrontation against both China and Russia. The US shows signs/characteristics of being "Mystery Babylon" prophesied to be destroyed in one hour. Doesn't mean Obama won't survive and go on to head the new beast government though.
Just some thoughts. It's way more complicated and the outcome more uncertain than we can possibly know now. I do believe we are steadily inching toward a world war and many things are converging which at some point must explode.
One morning soon, we may wake up to a vastly different world - one in flames around the globe.

Fracking is permitted in PA, which is why the economy of northeast PA is booming.
Cross the border into NY's Southern Tier, and all you see is dead malls, potholes, and indian casinos.
That's because the energy companies haven't agreed to Cuomo's price yet, which involves making him and his pals about ten times richer than they already are.
