I had several costly(gun wise) boat accidents up on the Red River but I finally sold off that boat that I bought from the Lee Kee boat company (a Peter Sellers tribute).

I rescued an old Glenfield .30-30 from the local pawn shop some years ago. It looked beat half to death, but the action was smooth and the bore looked bright. Cleaned, duracoated and fitted it with a plastic buttstock and fore grip, I've got maybe $175 invested in it.
It slides neatly into a loop of grey auto carpet that lies under the rear seat hinge in my SUV. All I have to do is tilt either side of the split rear seat and the end of the carpet loop is accessible. Looks like the factory put it there.

Picked up the SIG AR pistol last year with the ....ahem....SB15 Arm Brace. It’s by law a “handgun” .... throwed me a trijicon rmr , a surefire M720K on it with a redi-mag from boonie packers on it that gives me two 30 round mags on/in the mag well in a nice messenger bag size “pistol” .....ya know ....for road trips an stuff.
