I need source info for the male make up of those claiming refuge status and I need source information on the fact that Christians are not being considered as refugees for resettlement because they will not enter the UN refugee camps because of persecution by the majority Muslim population withy in the camp.

The UNHCR says of the total Syrian refugee population 50.3% are female and 51% are younger than 18. I don't have the stats for the ones being considered for admission to the US.

thank you for the proper info ... last night I’m posted on face book a RESPONSE to a posting saying that if you apposed resettlement of refuges in the united states you were un-American. I was called a liar by some one and needed the info to support my claims like always free republic comes through.

I am looking for one more document and that is the un pole that says 13 percent of incoming refugees supports Isil.. I no its out there but cant find it

From what I can tell one statistic is for refugees fleeing by boat across the Mediterranean from a variety of nations. These aren't all Syrians, but they are mostly male. This could make sense because escaping by ship is pretty physically demanding.

The other statistic, which shows a majority of women and children, is for a much larger population of just Syrian refugees.
