Hmm, so solo states may determine which laws apply to them. Why then is it such a stretch for more states at one time and place to determine the same? That's not what it means. I'm not here to explain all of this to you. I provided one--of many--sources for explanations. Nullification is one proposal that the Founders supported.
Besides the arguments against a con-con that Publius Huldah and others have made, my question comes back to: If the states managed to amend the Constitution in an undeadly fashion (BIG "IF"), what makes us think the federal monster would obey new amendments, or even a new Constitution, when they don't obey the Constitution as it is? Answer: They won't. Further, they're NOT going to give up their usurped power.

You sent me to your PH link a couple years ago. I waded through it and recall numerous errors regarding our revolutionary history.
I also visited about eight far lefty websites in search of Article V support. There was none to be found. If there is today, please ping me.
To reject and oppose the right of the people to exercise their sovereign duty to frame their government such that it serves their purposes is to deny the central tenets of the American Revolution.
It is as simple as that.
