The worldwide collection of phone calls, emails, text messages and our total loss of privacy is all about taxes – NOT terrorism. With all this power and the demand that encryption be outlawed, not any of this surveillance has stopped one terrorist act. There was the Boston bombers, two kids using cell phones. They didn’t catch that either.

Love her or hate her, but Ann Coulter is exactly right: You want to stop terror, then stop importing Muslims. But that’s not happening is it, in fact quite the opposite. Europe is welcoming Muslim hordes by the millions, our radical Islamic POTUS B. Hussein Obama will be importing them by the hundreds of thousands, so guess what? Terror attacks will keep going on and we will go through this whole process again of vigils and marches and demands of “something must be done” and vows of destruction of the terrorists, and meanwhile they will keep importing Muslims.
I believe they don’t have the real-time resources to capture, identify, translate, designate and investigate all the Muslims in this world who want to kill us.
They are superb at reconstructing sh!t after it has happened and adding their “special” sauce about how they tracked or knew this or that but somehow just missed it by a hair. Bullshit.
They WANT this capability to track malcontent rightists in this country who they identify over time as being malcontents because they call Obama a Homo or a Muslim or hate abortion. THEN when the get the DoJ trigger, go back and gather up all the evidence.
The truth is they couldn’t find their butt with both hands and a flash light. They can’t even definitively build a case for the worst classified data slip in the last Decade - Hillary Clinton’s private email system.

First knock off the PC of profiling. A major reason to have surveillance of everyone is that surveillance of profiled types is discriminatory. Of course, surveillance of everyone just makes the stack of hay even larger in which to find that needle.

There was a visit paid to the Boston terrorists. They were known. There was no willpower within the government to actually do anything with them or to address the radical Islamic center they attended there.
