FBI expands Clinton email investigation - is now looking at her ‘false statements’

False statements? What false statements?

Progressives have had a lot of fun pretending that the FBI investigation focusing on Hillary’s secret email server was “no big deal.” It wasn’t, they would say, really about Hillary. It was more of a general inquiry into information handling and how the government conducts its business. Insiders argued that the whole thing was far more serious than the left wanted to admit but still, Democrats, including Hillary Clinton, laughed it off.

We bet they’re not laughing anymore.

The FBI has expanded its investigation to examine “false or misleading” statements that have been made by the Hillary camp.

Why is this taking so long?

The FBI is painstaking and thorough, they do not bend to outside schedules or time frames. But they grind exceeding small, and rarely lose a case as a result. If they return incriminating findings, and unless the findings are sealed and suppressed (a likely possibility), Hillary will be cooked.

I suspect that this is just the visible tip of the backroom-deals-and-positioning iceberg.

The leadership of the FBI is incurably politicized. The political class will not be indicted.

Just ask Jon Corzine, Clinton ally & donor, and democrat party crony. Billions are missing under his watch from segregated client accounts. He is still on the cocktail party circuit.

The USA is no longer a bona fide republic.

Drag it out until the election and Hussein 0bama can exact anything he likes from the Clinton Crime Syndicate.

I'd have loved to have been a fly on the wall when Bubba "visited" Hussein about a month back. What do you suppose he promised him for squashing the FBI investigation, or at least dragging it out till after the election?

“Why is this taking so long?”

It needs to be an absolutely bulletproof case, if they try to send it forward to the Justice Department for prosecution.

Like Machiavelli said, “If you strike at the Prince, be sure that you kill him”(her or it).

I think her goose is cooked. There are allot of good decent agents that won’t be bought off or manipulated.

It seems it’s taking a long time, but I believe they are discovering evidence that keep leading to new revelations.

Between Bengahzi, Clinton foundation, home brew server and desimminating classified info to non-state department folks (buddy Sid), I think Hillary has left herself vunna-ble.

I may be wrong, but my gut is telling me...she’z in big trouble.

These things ALWAYS take this long.

Lots of paperwork. Lots of waiting. Lots of trying to fit part B into part C.

Every loose end needs to be wrapped up, and I am sure in this case there are thousands of them. If a single loose end is not closed, the defense attorney will find it and use it to their benefit.

“If they return incriminating findings, and unless the findings are sealed and suppressed (a likely possibility), Hillary will be cooked.”

Why? The FBI can’t prosecute anyone, they are merely investigators. Obama’s stooge Attorney General would have to prosecute, and she won’t.

“I may be wrong, but my gut is telling me...[HRC’s] in big trouble.”

I agree and am weary of all the freepers who reflexively post, “Nothing will come of this...the fix is in...”

Will HRC go to prison, as she should? Almost certainly not. However, there are many possible outcomes between “going to prison” and having nothing legal happen to HRC at all.

Ed Klein's description of HRC’s asking Obama to “call off the XYZ dogs” was credible; it seemed obvious that Bill Clinton's golf game with Obama a couple of months back was initiated by him to ingratiate himself with Obama for HRC’s sake; it is known that Michelle Obama loathes HRC, and that Obama himself dislikes her; and Valerie Jarrett is supposed to have been the one who leaked the FBI investigation of HRC story in the first place. Given all that, I do not understand why so many freepers insist that there is “no way Justice will act against HRC, no matter how damning the evidence.”

HRC’s polls will never move on account of the email scandal; she will be corronated, rather than nominated by the Dems. However, that doesn't mean she may not also be indicted, in which case...pas the popcorn!

The USA is no longer a bona fide republic.

We have become the Banana Republic we used to turn our nose at.
Or with all the information delivery systems today we see what's been going on for years.

As for Hillary, she's been lying at least as far back as her pronouncement of 'I do'.

The trouble with Federal criminal action is that

While she was jet-setting as Secretary of State, it appears that Hillary was busy soliciting money from foreign governments, and laundering it through her foreign (Canadian) foundation (not to mention her husband’s huge honoraria). The feds, notwithstanding the judgment of four SCOTUS justices that it violates the First Amendment, have imposed strict limits on domestic contributions to political candidates. The Constitution rejects the idea that any federal employee should receive gifts from any foreign government. And yet no federal enforcement of that stricture is in the offing for Mrs. Clinton.

BUT each state does have plenary power to “appoint,” as the Constitution puts it, its presidential Electors. No state actually has to conduct an election for that purpose. Every state has the right, I say the duty, to keep its ballot clear of electors pledged to any candidate who has obtained significant benefits, however laundered, from any foreign government. Such laws should be proposed in all states; if any purple or blue ones pass such legislation, Hillary’s presidential hopes would be quashed.

The very act of trying to pass such laws would dramatize the corruption involved. Even if the Clinton Foundation was pure as the wind-driven snow, the fact (if such it be) that foreign governments gave money to a charity named after her should be enough to disqualify her.

And this is just the tip of the iceberg.

As the FBI investigates Hillary, they are going to find more and more crimes.

Our girl Hillary has done some bad things.

Some very bad things.

She’s going to skate because the federal government is thoroughly corrupt.
