But there would be an appliance store where you could
buy one. Maybe a Sears. Maybe a 20,000 year old fish
and chips shop. Who knows?

The problem for earth is that satellite colonization
would, when once self sufficient, most likely decide
to govern themselves and tell the earth politicians
to go take a hike.

It’s happened before.
