The Ben Carson Money Machine: Making Millions from White Guilt
Darth News ^ | October 24, 2015 | true believer forever

What is only whispered within the Beltway is the Carson candidacy is not so much a serious effort to make him president as a fundraising scheme–and a very effective one. A polished team is making millions flogging a hopeless black candidate to guilt-ridden Republicans who are wasting every dollar they contribute. It’s a tactic they have perfected with several black long shots.

The man who filed the paperwork to set up National Draft Ben Carson for President Committee and is now its political director, Vernon Robinson, made around a quarter of a million dollars in 2014.

Mother Jones reports about $2,000,000 of National Draft Ben Carson for President Committee went straight to Eberle Associates. On top of that, the Washington Post and Buzzfeed have noticed that other companies that work for NDBCPCC share an address with Eberle Associates, and are owned by the same umbrella company, Eberle Communications Group.

Bruce Eberle brags about the money he raises. In the closing days of 2011, he wrote a revealingly titled article called The Amazing Herman Cain Money Machine, boasting about the inside role he and his associates played in the presidential campaign of the 2012 black Republican, Herman Cain. The campaign did raise a lot of money but Mr. Cain dropped out before the Iowa caucus after accusations of adultery and sexual harassment.

Lots was raised for Mr. Cain, and even more can be raised for Dr. Carson, so the people in charge of the operation will have very fat paydays. And now, in a loathsome convergence, they have teamed up with the very worst of the GOP’s pundits to promote the same black, long-shot, fake conservative.

I don't know anyone supporting Ben Carson who is driven by white guilt. White guilt is a DemocRAT phenomenon.

Alaska Erik has wisdom in his comments. No white guilt here, and I am supporting Ben Carson. I wonder if there is any black guilt and they help white candidates. Spin on the news, is nothing new.

8 years should make whites who voted for a guy who never held a real job and had no experience as a manager, soldier, etc.,just because he was half black feel guilty for the big mistake they made.

These dunces want to make yet another mistake for the same reasons, they deserve to feel guilty for punishing the whole country Obama ruined.

And Carson pals around with Sharpton, isn’t for kicking the illegals out, and wants gun control.

Carson is sounding like Obama more than I like.

I only included the white guilt as it was part of the title and didn’t want to quote incorrectly. Did you read what it says about Carson’s PAC, soon to be a combination of two PACs, raising money?

Ok I’m not going to be popular with this comment, so I’m ready to take the heat, hope your ready for the comment:

Is Carson running as POTUS because he is black or is he running to divide the white/black issues that I thought we had done away with?

Your thoughts?

Must be his love of Jim Crow gun laws.

If you visited the link, you would see there are many other articles linked to, which don’t talk about white guilt, but profile the people running his PACs, a bunch of hacks. Facts are your friend.

...making millions flogging a hopeless black candidate to guilt-ridden Republicans...

Any so-called Republican that is donating money to Carson as a result of "guilt", is not a Republican...but they are damned fools.

I think he is running because he wants to set in motion a senate campaign, and because it is lucrative, and because he is a lot more calculating than most people think. I am always wary of nice guys till they prove themselves. He hasn't proven himself.

I don't agree with the white guilt aspect, either, but there is plenty other good info in the article. And you are right about the damned fool part.

Show me a poor politician and I will show you a poor politician.

Money is the root of all political progress.

Would Hillary Clinton be in politics were it not for the money?

Her reaction after the Bengahzi hearings looked way to special needs!

She ain’t right.

I have been clueing this out for awhile now, and there was a comment on FR that pointed me in that direction, somebody said, he's a front guy for all his pacs to make big money. That seems to be the case. Really kind of sad when you think about it.

Carson has only been a Republican for a year. He is for me a person who we don’t really know if he is against Amnesty, for gun controls. We don’t know a lot about Carson.

The media didn’t vet Obama did they?

All the others in the race have been either CEO’s or politicians with long public records.

Carson should be analyzed. I got worried that he went to a Sharpton event.

If Chris Cristie went to a David Duke event he would have to explain why, and nobody is asking Carson why he would ever be seen with Sharpton.
