I've been trying to figure out why Rush is doing daily Trump clean up exercises (latest was his Friday deconstruction and then reframing of Trump's less than stellar performance on Hugh Hewitt's show), along with his breathless cheerleading; it's not the Rush Limbaugh Show anymore, it has become the The Donald Show.
Then this morning I read that Megachurch Pastor Paula White has married her 3rd husband (she's his 4th) = 6 marriages. I'd looked her up because she's a good friend of Donald Trump (promotes his books and he promotes her) who is going to arrange a sit down with Trump and other evangelical leaders.
So, it dawns on me this is a mutual promotion society we're watching.
Limbaugh's EIB audience (reportedly) has been shrinking recently, so what better way to build it back up with some new blood than by jumping on the Trump wave?
Trump tweets that Rush is talking about him and Rush reports that Trump is tweeting about him and they're off to the piggy bank races.
Now we getting vanity posts for you! I hope you paid for this microphone.
Rush talked about a lot of stuff yesterday, including The Donald. Why not? He’s the front runner. Hardy-har-har! Perry is about to be out and Walker (who deserves better than you) is sinking.
I believe Rush wants to save the country, same as Trump.
The illegal alien inundation must be stopped.
Most of the other candidates will do nothing about it because they are in the pocket of The Cheap Labor Express.

This is a new low. As disappointed as I am with Trump on the Kim Davis affair, this is a pretty sick post.
The sure sign of a dwindling candidate is when his supporters stop promoting (and repromoting, over and over again) them in their own right, but instead attack those they perceive as the reason why their candidate is a loser.

I don’t really listen to any of the radio talkers as a regular thing. I listened to Mark Levin the other night because I wanted to hear what he had to say about the Kim Davis situation.
Allen West was just on FOX. While he didn’t particularly beat up on Trump he did say that we need a president that is prepared, knows the international players and that we’ve lowered the bar to politics akin to American Idol.
Sagging? You mean sagging more than Walker’s poll numbers, like that type sagging?

Wow the GOP elite are getting desperate.
No, Rush doesn’t endorse any candidates. I don’t like him, but I have no reason to think he’s lying. He knows Trump personally.
That was already done in 2008 when Obama was elected, with absolutely no foreign policy experience and he made into a rock star in spite of ever accomplishing anything in his life.
At least Trump has accomplished things, like creating jobs and building real live structures that employ and house tens of thousands of people, as well as doing business in 11 countries.
I might have agreed with you a couple of weeks back (about Rush) but that's not his entire motivation at this point.
Rush always reminds his audience that his program is a profit making enterprise. I've been a big fan of Rush for many years, so I have been perplexed about his non-stop Trump advocacy (never seeing any warts).
Rush said he would never promote a candidate in the primary. Despite his protestations and cynical push back against callers who now call and ask him why he's doing exactly that, it's impossible to deny that he's actively supporting Trump.
And he's gone beyond promoting Trump, he makes excuses for him and he tries to paper over his gaffs.
This is just how the end came into sight with her support for Perry in 2012. Desperation, just pure unadulterated desperation. She has run out of gas for her dude and the only thing left is lashing out at anything.
When she first started her pimping for Walker, I tried to warn her about standing in concrete without any boots on. She was quick to make posts about Rush having good things to say for Walker. Einstein was correct.

Well he sure won’t be promoting Scott Walker if he wants to keep his audience.
Rush is a huge fan of Walker’s. But some people want it, apparently, to be all Walker all the time. If not, they stamp their little feet and send out nasty vanities.
