Reagan was a very funny guy, always telling jokes and making wise-cracks... I see some of that in Trump.
Humor is probably the second most important characteristic to have, after kindness. Legit humor, like Reagan. Not mocking, like Liebowitz.
Seems to me it was a private meeting with a private club (Hollywood conservatives, who must endeavor to remain quiet about it), and the "reporter" sounds to me like an infiltrator or snitch.
