What worries me, now that sodomite “marriage” is law of the land, is that young Americans, and not just those of middle eastern or south Asian descent, but blond haired, blue eyed bubbas, disappointed by what they see as a timid, ineffectual Christianity that won’t confront depravity head on, will see Islam as a no-holds-barred fighting faith. Letting muslims be governed by sharia isn’t really the same as supporting it. I’m totally cool with muslims being held accountable under sharia, just don’t aim those laws at me. But if they want to risk being beheaded for saying the wrong thing, not my problem.

Beg to differ. Letting them live under shariah in the US is permitting a colony of a foreign government or system to exist within US borders. That would have consequences and it most certainly would be a problem for you and every American.

We really already have that. Any group has its own set of rules. Indian reservations even get their laws and law enforcement. And there’s significant chunks of sharia law that muslims can enforce within their own group without anybody noticing. The only real question is how far do we want to let them take it. We already let Jews process and label their own food, clearly there’s no problem with that. Private groups can structure their loans however they choose. The question really comes in for the BIG ones. Do we want to let a group of people volunteer to get their heads chopped off if they download porn? All things considered, I’m OK with that. I won’t join the group, but dumbasses volunteering to get their heads chopped off doesn’t bother me.

Indians and Jews aren’t looking to take over the world. For muslims this is a religious imperative.
Moreover shariah is incompatible with US law. They cannot coexist in America.

Not so long ago people weren’t that convinced weren’t taking over the world. Heck there’s still a good chunk of folks that’ll tell the reason they aren’t trying to is because they already won. I sadly suspect that for the first time in 1400 years, Islam has a real shot of conquering the entire Eurasian landmass, if only because there is no strong Christianity anyplace there standing in its way (China is atheistic and India is mostly Hindu—with large Muslim minorities), and non-Muslim birthrates are plunging (Russia, most of W. Europe). Religion, like nature, hates a vacuum. After that, it’s only a matter of time ...
