That aside, I agree it’s inevitable. I honestly have not seen or read about any movie that has interested me in many years except perhaps Ex-Machina. The acting is marginal lately but the writing is terrible, plots all rehashed from the 80s and just bore me. They also went overboard trying to turn action movies into anime.
I love Anime but what works there does not work in real world SFX. Cars and bodies don’t move like that.
But video games offer the best of both worlds and aside from setting the basic plot, it’s the player that writes his own movie within the game. And Bethesda does it damn near flawlessly.

One thing I never latched onto was a player community. Some folks take it seriously and I didn't want to commit to anything more casual than showing up occasionally and blowing up something - lol!
I played EVE for about 6 months about 2 years ago. All I ever did was mine asteroids. I couldn't get the combat system down at all. Finally I said to heck with this, I'm going back to Battlefield 3.
