EL PASO, Texas -- On the day to remember America's war dead, Twin Peaks is saying thank you to military veterans by offering a free meal this Memorial Day.
The national chain is making the meals available to all current and former members of the U.S. Armed Forces at all its locations in the Borderland and across the country.
The offer is valid for lunch or dinner. Veterans will get to choose a free entrée from a special menu, which includes Blackened Chicken Quesadillas and Fish Tacos.
I'll pass, thanks just the same!
Seems like this would be more appropriate for Veteran’s Day than Memorial Day, but who am I to complain?
Here vet, here vet, come and get it.
Leave your motorbike at home.
They did back in 2012..... don’t know about the last two years.
Why do you mock veterans?
Since I am one, I don’t, I assure you.
Is it like a Hooters? From the website it looks like “twin peaks” might not be referring to mountains.
That looks like a dish that will fund the Cancer Industry will into the future.
I was getting ready to call my aunt and uncle to tell them about this until I clicked on their website. I’m glad I checked it out first or I would have been embarrassed.
You seem to imply that they don't do both...
Twin Peaks is a chain of sports bars and restaurants (colloquially referred to as breastaurants) based in Dallas, Texas. The chain is known for having its waitresses dress in revealing uniforms that consist of cleavage- and midriff-revealing red plaid (or sometimes black bikini) tops, as well as khaki short shorts. At other times, waitresses wear revealing seasonal or themed outfits. Restaurants are decorated in the theme of a wilderness lodge and serve a mix of American, Southwest and Southern cuisines as well as alcohol. The chain's slogan is "Eats. Drinks. Scenic Views."
There has been several snide remarks about Veterans this past week. He said that was not what He was doing, but the others knew what they were doing. Perhaps Jealousy, who knows what goes on in peoples head now days, but was surprised to see on FR.
Here vet, here vet, come and get it.

Do you disagree with honoring vets?
Yes, it’s a “breastaurant” like Hooters, Titled Kilt, Bikinis Sports Bar & Grill, Bombshells, Show-Me’s and Redneck Heaven.
But do they honor vets? It just depends on what year it is and how they want to use us. Spitting on us at one time was fashionable.
I won’t go to any restaurant for a free meal on Memorial Day for sure. Seems rather tacky but I am glad that the restaurant itself is recognizing the day. Donating to an organization that helps the homeless vets or Walter Reed Hospital seems more appropriate. I don’t know. It is a nice gesture though.
