A woman testifying for Moms Demand Action has been called on the carpet for misleading the Texas Senate for implying by omission that the tragic killing of her husband by her son resulted from the use of a firearm. In reality, her son killed his father with a pipe wrench and a knife. The fact that her son owned what she called “an arsenal” had no bearing on the murder.
Open Carry Texas (OCT) has produced a short video which contrasts the woman’s testimony at the Capitol with newspaper and television reports about the murder, and her son’s trial.

Another fake but accurate story.
The problem there, is that liberals avoid facts like vampires avoid holy water: They are fatal. Liberals CANNOT argue with facts because facts generally do not support liberals’ positions. Liberals are as children: Emotion controls their every action.

I watched her “testimony” on streaming video, and quickly concluded that she needs to be institutionalized along with her son.
Moms Demand Action = a disengengous liberal group setup with actors using an emotional element to push a false premise that guns are harmful to society that is funded by extremely wealthy eliteists who are protected by men with guns

Why OCTX founder agrees that there is a debate is beyond me.
As the Fabian society taught so long ago, You cannot defeat freedom with the truth.
Look for the lies in any presentation by the left and then expose those lies.
I don’t understand the mother, and her psychology.
Apparently she’s worried about her son and it turned out to have merits (death of her husband). Why didn’t she go through the legal actions and obtain court order (like one of the gun shops said)?
She’s just as “guilty” that her son acquired an arsenal of firearms.
But the arsenal wasn't the issue in the crime. I don't understand
what your point is. She was engaging in deceptive story telling.
Mothers Demand Action for Gun Control says ‘the system failed’ them. So they demand more and tighter control for everybody.
But the mother in this case had a choice and chose inaction instead.
My point is not directly aimed at the son’s trial.
She blames freedom for her son exercising his freedom. Got it, She’s a fool.
That is the fact that she is having trouble with. She cannot admit that to herself, because the guilt would be overwhelming.
So she desperately works to blame someone, something, anything else for her sons actions, so that she can avoid the truth.
She really needs Jesus. All are sinners, and forgiveness is available to all.
Not only she’s a fool, she’s an deceptive fool.
She’s a progressive. She has doesn’t need and likely can’t process rational thought. She has her ideology and that’s all she needs.
Among those with an agenda, the ends justifies the means.
