Hillary Clinton was personally emailed by Sidney Blumenthal two days after the terrorist attack in Benghazi, Libya with specific information tying the terrorist group Ansar al-Sharia to the consulate attack. Ms. Clinton read and responded to the email. The next day Secretary Clinton spoke at Andrews Air Force Base and claimed specifically that the attack was because of "an awful internet video that we had nothing to do with." We now know that Ms. Clinton knowingly lied thanks to secret emails that were released today.
On September 11, Ansar al-Sharia carried out an attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Libya. Ambassador J. Chris Stevens was killed in the attack. Secretary Clinton was initially told that Ansar al-Sharia had taken credit for the attacks; however, she blamed an internet video slamming Muslims that night on MSNBC.
The next day, September 12, she received an email saying the attack could have been because of an internet video. That was quickly debunked, however, the next day.
That day, September 13, Secretary Clinton was emailed by Sidney Blumenthal, who told her specifically that the attack had been linked to Ansar al-Sharia.
Ms. Clinton responded the same day, September 13th, saying that information "should get around asap." Without question, she was now aware that the plan had been planned and carried out by a terrorist organization.
However, the next day she and the White House specifically said that there was "no evidence" that the attack was pre-planned. In fact, Secretary Clinton specifically claimed that there was another reason for the attack: a YouTube video.

Knowing that Hillary was telling the truth for once would, in my humble opinion, be much more of a story.

Families of the four who were murdered need to be on a program together or hold a news conference demanding that Hillary apologize for lying and remove herself from the presidential race.

Three quarters of American will never get or understand the message. We have no real media to reach them. Even some of Fox will be weak on reporting and radio will carry very little.

It’s getting to the point where one refreshes FreeRepublic to update themselves on today’s latest act of treason that won’t be acted on.
Always look at strict literal word definitions and how they can be parsed, when evaluating statements of the Clintons.
“No evidence” is correct. It takes time to properly collect and objectively examine evidence, and no US enforcement agency had yet made it to Benghazi to do that within a couple days of the attack.
But like Bill saying in a deposition that his actions are more relevant to “what the meaning of ‘is’ is,” the response avoids the more critical truth of the matter.
Hillary learned from Bill. That’s the greater context here.
I would have liked to have seen some Republicans make more out of the idea that a video caused Benghazi. Even if it did, does that excuse what happened? The Republicans should have really pushed back on the whole meme by saying that the administration and State dept apparently thinks American lives are forfeit around the world if Muslims get offended by a video. In the debate between Romney and Obama/Crowley, Mitt should have hit the dems on that rather than arguing about what Obama said.
If lying was a crime, she’d be in big trouble.
