BALTIMORE — Addressing questions about the police’s tempered response to unrest on Monday in Baltimore, a police spokesman said Tuesday that officers took a restrained approach early on because most of the people involved seemed to be minors.
A social media campaign that appeared to be goading Baltimore residents into rioting on Monday afternoon was timed to 3 p.m., about when schools were being dismissed, Capt. J. Eric Kowalczyk of the Baltimore Police Department said Tuesday during a news conference.
“When we deployed our officers yesterday, we were deploying for a high school event,” Captain Kowalczyk told reporters. “I don’t think there’s anyone that would expect us to deploy with automatic weapons and armored vehicles for 13- 14- and 15-year-olds.”
But as the afternoon wore on and turned to evening, adults took over, he said. Of more than 200 people arrested, only 34 were juveniles....

Those teens were better off looting a liquor store without any attempt by police to stop them? GIVE ME A BREAK !!!

Good, then make it “Official Policy” that NO Officer shall deploy or display any weapons in the presence of minors.
On news tonight from Houston Black minister calling on the City to have plans for dealing with incidents if they occur here. Have yet to see anyone anywhere getting in front of a camera and telling the parents to keep their kids at home and not let them run the streets, except for that one Black Veteran in Baltimore. God bless him for speaking out.
These “children” need a good dose of what’s right and what’s wrong. Getting hosed down to get them out of there may teach them a good lesson. That Police response was ridiculous. They refuse to get tough with these animals.

Another unprepared and badly led police department. Of course young children are going to participate in riots, and are deliberately being used up front so that the police won’t respond to their violence.
It is an old Marxist tactic wherein the agitators are in the 3-6th rows while the sacrificial lambs are in the first thru third.
I was lecturing on riots in a class I was attending on Crime and Crowd Control/Violence back in 1975. Maybe I should just pull out and reprint my old notes on how riots are made, guided, and manipulated by professional Leftist/Marxist street fighters, aided and abetted by the unwashed “lumpenproletariat”, or as WEB DuBois called them, “cannon fodder”.
I’m tired of the Keystone Kops continually retreating and being out-thought by professional rioters. The police ARE SUPPOSED TO BE PROFESSIONAL, WELL TRAINED AND LED LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS. If they are not, then they are just as useless as our Marxist president and his just out-the-door racist Attorney General Eric Holder.
Another example. When Obama apologized for the drone strike that accidentally killed an American hostage and an Italian hostage, he faulted the operation, not the fact that the Al Qaeda/Taliban leaders planned to us these people are human shields.
The drone missiles did exactly as they were supposed to, to kill our enemies no matter where they are. It was a “tragedy” that the hostages were killed, and it was accidental, not a policy failure.
Remember, it was Pres. Clinton and AG Janet Reno who burned alive dozens of children at the WACO compound, who they knew were inside with the wackos. That was deliberate, not an accident.
Our president is a Marxist coward in the face of the Hitlerian-like jihadism of Al Qaeda and the Taliban, as well as the newer ISIS. He is also a closet Moslem so he won’t take any real fight to them, just nickel & diming them on occasion (re our very limited bombing of ISIS in Iraq and Syria).
Cowardice is the “prime directive” of the Obama Administration and his admirer mayors of many our America’s biggest cities. Baltimore was just the latest example of that.
