It will take water conservation to an entirely different level. And maybe they can go big-time with water desalinization projects. Israel has eliminated their water shortage problem this way. California ought to be looking long and hard at what Israel is doing!

In an average year, California gets enough snow and rain to put 200 million acres under a foot of water, but environmental opposition to dams over the last several decades has allowed the majority of the freshwater to flow into the ocean,

California to build temporary Delta dam
The $28 million dam is designed to prevent a worst-case scenario in which Delta waters become too salty for the 25 million Californians and 3 million acres of farmland that depend on it, DWR officials said. It would work by mitigating the push of salt water from San Francisco Bay into the central Delta.

#1: INVITING SOMEONE TO SHARE YOUR SHOWER IS NOW YOUR CIVIC DUTY

I wonder if they remember this prank photo of Mayor Frank Jordan with DJs Mark Thompson and Brian Phelps that changed the election and gave us Gavin Newsom?

I guess it’s good the lefty environmentalists weren’t able to convince San Francisco to pull the plug on Hetch Hetchy Reservoir. They came pretty close to having SF destroy its primary water supply.

The worst drought to hit California since the Middle Ages ...

Gee, for some strange reason I thought that the term "Middle Ages" referred to European history [5th-15th Centuries], not AmerInd California!? Of course by admitting to such an occurrence, the writer is also implicitly agreeing that the current drought may have other contributory factors than AGW or ACC or whatever the current PC terminology may be. That is unless someone has 'dug up' fossil-fuel usage by the Native / Aboriginal / First Peoples ... Ahhrrrrgghhh!

#11: EXPLORE NEW HISTORIC TREASURES

Here in South Carolina when drought conditions expose formerly underwater land one can get ticketed or even arrested for messing with anything now revealed. It’s the same laws that protect archeological sites.

If they quit bottling their so-called spring water and selling it, I'd be more impressed.

Otherwise, fore!

You are absolutely correct! Hit the nail on the head. These people deserve everything they’re going to get. No sympathy here. They need to stop their foolishness soon. Start taking care of tax paying citizens and stop the enviro-natzis who seem to care more for minnows, frogs, lizards, turtles and the list is endless.
