National Defense or social experimentation?
Canada Free Press ^ | 04/10/15 | Lt. Col. Bill Connor

Once the warrior ethos of the U.S. military has been extinguished, it cannot be re-lit without a great deal of hard work and time

“First of all, is this [women being admitted to Ranger School] being done because there’s a requirement in the force, or is this just an experiment in social justice?”—Former Congressman and retired U.S. Army Lt. Col. Allen West

For the first time in the history of the legendary U.S. Army Ranger School, the course will be open for women to attend as Ranger Students beginning in mid-April.

This comes as a direct result of the demands on the armed services by the Obama Department of Defense to gender integrate all specialties, including Army Infantry, Armor, Artillery, Special Forces, Rangers, and Navy SEALS. The services have been ordered to meet full gender integration by 2016, and therefore even the Navy SEALS will be required to integrate Basic Underwater Demolition/SEAL (BUD/S) next year.

There is already a shortage of slots for these schools, some people don’t realize that not even all Rangers get to go to Ranger school, so all this game playing is hurting us, and depriving the Army of needed training.

Next will be quotas.

Are the training standards consistent? Because that is the real issue here. I would hope that a government of the people would take care of itself, but in so many cases, it appears to simply be not so.

Peacetime military is always being pushed and pulled for other than strictly military purposes.

For example, calls for reinstitution of the military draft are usually motivated by the desire to accomplish some social/cultural objective, not because the military needs manpower.

The warrior culture won’t return until there’s war.

If you try to win this argument with logic, you’re going to lose.

Females are complaining that there are too many male Generals. The counter argument is that this is because most Generals should come from the Combat Arms. Women say that it is unfair because they can’t get into the Combat Arms.

What is eventually going to happen is that there will be a requirement to have more female Generals. Once there are more female Generals, the military will be forced to allow women into every job.

Any man who argues against this will automatically be branded a sexist and bigot. The only way to stop this is to have females stop it. The way to get females to stop this is to demand full equality. This starts with mandating that all females between the ages of 18 and 55 be forced to sign up with the Selective Service.

The vast majority of females have no interest in the military. They feel that if a few females want to be in the Infantry, well, why not? But, if you point out to them that ALL females will then be available for the Infantry, then you will get their attention.

“There are no hairdressers in the foxholes, ladies. Be careful of what you ask for.”

There is an undiscussed quota that is shooting for 50% to 54% of the military being female, as they are that percentage in the nation.

Maybe, but I think that the reality of it probably will not come home until the bodybags start coming home in large numbers.

There is no logic, my best bet is that the news media won’t be reporting something if it doesn’t fit their agenda. They will not report, or at best, they will underreport any problems that happen that don’t fit their agenda. If they do report, they will add excuses.
