the button when employed on browsers would of course not be a link...to the free Republic Donation page,....
I hadnt thought of that when posting the image...
Thanks!!

Smart webpages include that. And of course there’s always the Home key.

I use my “Home” key.
To: TexasGator
having been a mac user since 1993...I have not been aware that there was a home key...on any of my mac computers...

“end” key goes to bottom.
On a side note, there are actually some folks that think their system is missing the “any” key.

PC keyboards also have a PAGE UP and PAGE DOWN key, so you can move a screen/page at a time.

Recognize this keyboard? I spilled one drop of water on my laptop's KB and a couple keys died in the resuscitation attempt so I had to make use of this one from the iMac in the pic, got the iMac, KB and the clear-cased laser mouse for a fiver at a garage sale, it works fine--for an oldie from 2001...it's got IE/Netscape 5 browsers, har!

That’s quite the Combo you have there.
I got my first copy of Adobe Photoshop...for 10 bucks.at a Flea Market
Photoshop was bundled with scanners back in the early days..and version came on 1 Floppy Disk!
I soon opted for an upgrade, which didnt cost a hundred bucks I dont think ,..and was on my way.
A Few years ago somebody gave my a Mac II......which I used as a nightlight...

Old stuff is fun, but nobody misses those friggin’ floppies! Imagine dropping an 8GB flash drive in someone from 1995’s hand, and watch them fall over! Hee, hee! IIRC, DOS 6.22, Win3.1 and MS Flight Simulator all came on 6 diskettes each. Eew!

there are now flash drives that exceed 100 Gigabytes...at early 2000 prices....those flash drives would cost thousands of dollars!
my first-one gigabyte drive-cost 800 bucks!
these days ya cant get much software that comes on any sort of disk. and even then its on LEASE...
