I really dislike newton....he cheated at Alabama or Auburn wherever he was paid to play and right now he’s got that “he can do no wrong” schtick going with the DBM....similar to the dog fighter guy.....they can do no wrong...

Why do black live in abject terror of being killed by a cop, when its something like over 100 times more likely they will be murdered by someone who looks just like them?
I don’t get it,,,,

As someone that knows the Charlotte Panther zeitgeist, it's looking worse and worse for Cam. The problem with "Riverboat Ron" is that, if you're a gambler, you have to win most of the time. Panthers were 7-8-1, with 2 out of the last 4 being squeakers. Not a strong showing even if you surprised the Cards in the wild card. Luke Kuechly and the Panthers defense resulted in the team getting to the playoffs with that 7-8-1 and a -25 PD (they scored 25 LESS points than were scored against them) and this didn't seem to be a weak defense's fault as much as a lacking offense.
I think the Panther's have a decent D to build on, but Cam tends to run and get slammed on the option when there are one or two receivers open. He did have a lot of issues with his ribs at the beginning, but it looked more and more like his play was the issue as the season progressed.
But let
A REAL EXPERTmake a comment.

Honestly, is promotion of this attitude at all helpful to advance the condition of economically disadvantaged blacks in America? Much better to encourage them to work hard in school, find honest employment, start strong families and take advantage of the legal equalities that have been won. What good is the endless promotion of grievance and violence?

Paranoia is fear of unfounded fear of rumors or lack of facts.

Difficult to read, stopped and just skimmed past the “appease the angry white male fan base by opposing black quarterbacks...” line.
Glad I don’t really follow the NFL much anymore, with the thug stuff and now this...

I've read enough paranoid articles by black scribblers who have the conceit that they alone know what's going on. All whites are racists, all great white athletes are just frauds pumped up by a racist, white-dominated culture, and all black athletes (like all other blacks) are innocent victims of this horrible, racist society.
There's no amount of evidence that could make them change their minds. Blacks are eternal victims, and that will never change in their tiny little minds. It's actually pretty pathetic in the age of a black president and glorified black superstar athletes like Michael Jordan and Tiger Woods. But what's a brother to do...actually tell the truth? No way.

I didn’t bother to read the article, but I do think there’s a high incidence of mental illness among blacks.
To: DesertRhino
Number one, they consider themselves perpetual victims in a virulently racist, white-dominated society and number two, math probably isn't their strong point.
You've got a situation where out of about one hundred black males shot and killed by police annually, maybe two or three are questionable.
Contrast that with six or seven thousand black males gunned down by other black males in the same time period, and you have to wonder about their sanity.

This author is a moron.
Using Cam Newton is a lame excuse. Look at Russell Wilson and Colin Kaepernick.
Both black, both successful. And loved by the fans.
If Newton could break open games with his smarts and talent, nobody would give a hoot what color he is.
What Panther fan cares what color Newton is?
They just want a winner.
To show just how stupid this writer is, two words: Michael Sam.
Sam shouldn't have even been on the practice squad.

There's so much transparent, clumsy propaganda in this article, it truly boggles the mind.
Talk about drinking the koolaid...

The nut should write about tennis. Perhaps the MOST lily white sport in the world, and you have the Williams sisters who dominated seemingly forever. And before them it was a white man-girl, Natrilova..... go figure.
