Yes, but the 'feminist' movement demanded (and it was made law) that women be treated like men. They got what they asked for.
Until women started aborting their children.
We must remember that it is easy (now) to blame this all on the women but abortion originally was arranged, paid for, and conducted by men. At the time it was also illegal, but that didn't slow anyone down.
It was run by organized crime, back then, and is to this day. The reason for the switch from it being a man's decision to being a woman's decision was not about women's "rights", it was about profit.
We have quit (as a society) forcibly locking up people in metal health centers; ones like this need to be forcibly locked up and treated.
