Ievgen Shevchenko at Артемовск "Today was a hard day. I do not know what there is agreement in Minsk, but here the situation is very complicated. Battle for Logvinova goes for life and death - here now is the fate of Debaltsevskogo boiler. From what I can tell. "Donbass" battalion entered the Logvinovo with the support of 30 Brigade mat APU. The Headquarters said that the enemy's main force of newsmakers of the village had already knocked out-our task was to clean up all the streets, houses and cellars. To the village came up on MAT (a few tanks and APCs), at the entrance to the village, had alighted, began a sweep. When logged in about half of the village, on the right with the left landing tanks separov and started to beat the direct-fire projectile on our little box, then with machine guns mow our guys. Actively began to work the PKK and mortars - took the fight! Our fighter (call sign "Airplane") burned one tank. What does all are shot from a prone position - the density of fire such that they can not raise their heads. But with "fly" not lying strelnesh. "Airplane" calmly gets up on his knee, takes aim and extinguishes a tower - fireworks! Bullets whistle on, and he continues to stand - beheld his success until he pulled down) According to the results, of course, we had to retreat - forces were too heavy - because we were going to sweep, not to storm the village core. It became clear that separability is probably when they knocked desantura, transferred here a significant gain, and confirmed that the subsequent interrogation of captured. According to the results. We have killed three: "Vova", "Vpevneny" and 6 wounded. We managed to take two prisoners Russian Separatists who told me that they have at the end of the battle was killed about 50 people, who explained that they had at the end of the combat death toll was about 50 people, with half of them covered their same morons from the mortars. Another reported that moved them to Logvinovo only that morning- from Lutugino and someone from Uglegorsk.. On the technology, they had 18-20 tanks. At least three have been destroyed. Also separatists captured 15 of our soldiers. Basically, the Ukrainians are all from: Yenakiyevo, Donetsk, Gorlovka ... this is, in general. Almost all were on their first real fight. Prior to that, basically they had stood at roadblocks, dug trenches. Promised them $360 a month, but this group is the third month in the system, but the money was never been received. Well, as it so. Now faded into the night. I sleep. Tomorrow promises to be no less difficult-should any freaks of Logvinovo fight and secured there thoroughly. Cherish the memory of the dead of ... P.S.: the "Vpevnenij" in two days was supposed to leave on holiday-at the 16th he had scheduled a wedding ...This is a war"

I think this Minsk agreement is a huge failure for the West - the last chance to stop him is now past. He managed to postpone indefinitely the provision of arms to Ukraine while he will now accelerate the flow of all kinds of equipment into Ukraine.

I suspect that if Russia invaded NATO (and of course that would involve Article 5 being invoked) and Obama tried to balk at complying with Article 5, he might find himself being escorted out of office.
The difference between Hitler and Putin is Hitler’s main strength was manipulating people to maintain power; he was not a military genius and his constant meddling was a serious contributing factor to Germany losing WWII.
Putin is a more shrewd strategist, and while ruthless and calculating like Hitler, is not as irrational (flooding the tunnels to drown Germans hiding from allied bombing, etc). Just because Putin is more rational about achieving his goals does not necessarily mean he can be reasoned with, however, if he views certain goals as being so essential to Russian security as to be non-negotiable.
Jimmy Carter gave away Panama and I can easily see Obama giving away Guantanamo. I could never see Putin doing that for Russian equivalents. I can also not see him invading a NATO country with more competent president than Obama in office. He will never allow Ukraine to go full-tilt West without a buffer zone. So it is probably best that this Ukraine situation putter along until Obama leaves office and we get someone who will neither provoke Putin on Ukraine nor let Putin think he can get away with pushing into NATO.

Now that was demonically evil.
Who knows with any certainty how a Russkie invasion of Europe ...the West would play out? But it is certain God Himself will crush Magog and Gog, and Pootie can burn in hell for all eternity.
Putin being a brilliant military strategist is poppycock, look what he as done to Russia! No one will invest in Russia for decades after the Putin and those like him are gone....yea brilliant Pootie!
