AZ Republic roughs up Jeff Flake in lover’s spat

Hollywood divorces are sensational news though they occur with enough regularity to render them humdrum. There’s always a peroxide blonde dumper or dumpee grabbing the headlines.

When the split occurs on the political front and the dumper is the state’s newspaper of record, the news is even more compelling. In this case the blonde is Sen. Jeff Flake who is getting something far less than the royal treatment from the Arizona Republic —– not once, but twice, within 24 hours.

On Saturday Jan. 24, the newspaper drew a parallel between Flake and Obama in a report that must have sent Flake reeling even more than the disapproval he received at the statutory state GOP meeting where Flake and McCain were greeted with boos and catcalls from the Republican elected state committeemen. The article is derisively headlined, Flake sides with Obama on Iran and Cuba.

Sunday’s editorial was equally scathing. It ran with the headline, Jeff Flake is now part of the immigration problem. The “editorial board,” sounding a whole lot like a solo Linda Valdez offering, opens with this tidbit:

“Arizona’s junior senator once tried to solve our broken system. How, he’s just feeding the GOP base.”

McCaul and Cornyn should be tarred and feathered when they get back to Texas after sponsoring that disgusting pro Chamber of Amnesty bill. Everyone else in Texas is sick to death of the invasion from the south. Cornyn, unfortunately, is safe for six long years, but McCaul needs to be primaried next year.

Flake supports Obama’s bail out of the Cuban Stalinist regime.

Already in 2002, the then Republican Congressman, Jeff Flake, proved to be another of Castro’s sycophants.

This a case of extreme human insensitivity, Washington bankers, business owners, government officials and others - said they support freer American travel to Cuba. Bread and circus, rum and sex; in the meantime, they continue ignoring the blood and tears of hundreds of thousands of Cuban heroes and martyrs while they feast and party with the tyrant.

“ Arizona Republican, Rep. Jeff Flake, sponsored in 2002, an amendment prohibiting the Treasury Department from spending money on enforcing the four-decade travel ban.”

Representative Flake, in proposing a project of law forcing the Executive power to ignore and violate the laws already in force that were promulgated by the Congress and signed by then President Bush, denotes his faithful loyalty to his last name (a person marked by eccentric behavior or thinking). He wants to institute in our country a cafeteria rule of law in which each one picks whatever laws they want to obey or to ignore.

“Flake believes that by traveling more freely to Cuba, Americans will bring with them ideas and values that will help end the communist regime.” In other words, the contact with hundreds of thousands of European, Canadian, and Latin American tourists, have not been able to infest the Cubans with the virus of democracy. According to Rep. Flake, only by the contact with the American tourists, the virus of democracy and freedom can be transmitted.

The fact is that for 56 years more than 150 nations have been with free political and trade relations with Cuba, a policy that proved to be a complete failures since far from facilitating the return of freedom and democracy, their policy brought more oppression and misery for the Cuban enslaved people.

Is Rep. Flake joking or is he delirious? Unless the Americans he has in mind are the Marines, I don’t believe he would be fit to represent any State in the U.S. Congress.

Here he comes again, now as Senator Flake, defending the Cuban communist regime against the interest of the American taxpayers and the security of U.S.

People in AZ can’t pick anyone who is very good, it seems for so long now.

Flakism is the remaining “crazy quilt” of leftover “Goldwaterism”.

The people for Cornball will also be for McCaul. Nothing can change. I also have a fear Abbott will veer leftward.
