My objective in this speech is to speak clearly about what I believe to be America's proper role in international affairs; to speak bluntly about the nature of the threats we face and the recent tragic events in France; and to suggest what I think is the way forward.
The first step for America, and for any nation that wants to protect its own freedom and encourage it everywhere is to have a strong economy.
It all starts there.
Without a strong economy, it at some point becomes impossible to build and sustain a strong military.
You have to have both in order to have a strong presence in the world.
Leaders who understand each of these particular elements of statecraft have the ability to lead a nation, defend its interests, encourage its allies and face down its enemies.

Islam rejects reason, which Christianity (except for a few biblical literalists) never has, so this won’t happen. But I love the fact that he’s going to say it.
If he runs for President, I’d not only vote for him but work for his campaign. He and Scott Walker are my favorites.
By far the most brilliant and incorruptible politician on the scene today.
Very brave of him to go to a Muslim country to do it.
Another politician who will be credited with making a great speech but just can't say it is the religion itself (Islam)that is the problem.
It is fundamental Islam that is the basis of the problem.
They are not radicals and have a legitimate claim for their actions because they are following Islam as written in the Koran and the examples set by Muhammed in the Hadiths.
It is Jindal that is pretending otherwise. -Tom

This short and to the point speech goes directly to what the administration and Democrats want to do with Muslim terrorists. Coddle them.
These are strong and truthful words saying that the enemy should fear us, and not be understood and empathized with as Zero, Kerry, and Hillary are doing.

As reported on another site Jindal will say in London that:
“A so-called religion that allows for and endorses killing those who oppose it is not a religion at all, it is a terrorist movement.”
Okay. I gotta ask- who are these Crusaders?
Is Jindal bucking for a ‘hate crimes’ charge because if his speech is dead serious and has any meat in it that’s what you get in the UK when you “expose the truth” regarding Islam as many people see it?
OR IS THIS JUST A POLITICAL NOISEMAKING SPEECH SO JINDAL CAN SPLIT OFF SUPPORT OF TED CRUZ FOR PRESIDENT?????

Jindal understands what America is; he understands the vital importance of freedom, security and truth.
I fear that few in the US will be exposed to his words.
But this is an important speech.
It also probably means that he's running for President. And he just became a formidable contender.
Excellent speech. I’m not hearing any Republicans talk about American cultural identity like he has here.
I hope everyone reads the whole thing.

Maybe the world community of non-Muslims sick and tired of this. Maybe they take out ISIS, Al Queada, Hezbollah, Hamas and BoKo Haram. Then who knows?

Only three possible presidential candidates seem at all concerned with this particular issue of cultural identity. And, oddly, they are Jindal, Cruz and Rubio -- all born of foreign parents.
All three speak of America with sincere love and appreciation for her particular meaning to humanity.
In that regard, I'm proud of all three -- and delighted that they are Americans, too.

That's what I am saying about Jindal, and other influential Infidels.
They cannot bring themselves to say it is the fundamentals of Islam that are the problem. (Subjugate , convert or kill all non-believers)
Calling anyone's beliefs in supernatural beings a cult or not a religion avoids the issue of facing up to what the religion requires of its adherants.
These fundamental Muslims are willing to give up their lives for their beliefs, while most so-called Muslims sit on the sidelines. At least for now. -Tom
