NY Congressman Hakeem Jeffries: I ‘Worry Every Day’ About What A ‘Bad Apple’ Police Officer Could Do To My Son

U.S. House Member Hakeem Jeffries, a black congressman from Brooklyn, New York, told CNN’s Christiane Amanpour on Thursday that he views some “bad apple” police officers as a threat to his son.
“I’ve got to worry every day about what could happen to him – not just from the robbers, but from a bad apple on the police department.”
His remarks came a day after a grand jury in the New York City borough of Staten Island decided not to indict a police officer who used a banned choke hold on an unarmed black man, which resulted in his death.
“I was really struggling as a father as to what to say to my older son in particular about what this verdict, or failure to indict, means in terms of his everyday actions on the streets of New York. I was actually comforted by the fact that I called and he got home safely.”
Jeffries called the decision a “stunning miscarriage of justice.”

Or why his folks named him Hakeem...or how he became an elected official. Of course, Hussein didn’t seem to have any affect.

Perhaps we need an American version of the Tonton Macoutes of Haiti to police the colored areas of the USA. Only the colored areas.
Facts don’t matter to the craven Left. The fact that each of these “unarmed black men” were involved in an emotional, criminal confrontation with police doing their duty is never discussed. The cops are not sending goon squads into minority areas to intentionally crack heads despite what the Left and the MSM would like people to believe. The Left’s narrative is that the police are agents of the white power structure that ensure white privilege. The Left wants them neutered.

Question: Would it be racist to suggest he would have a lot less to worry about if he would simply teach his child not to resist arrest?
Answer: Are you white? Then the answer is yes. And if you’re black, the response is “quit acting white”.
I worry every day, wondering if I might get mobbed by a multitude of Afro-American tugs that are seeking some sort of revenge on my white ass for something or other.
I worry that I will not be fast enough to pull my ccw and shoot several of them before I’m overwhelmed.
In truth, I worry not ... I am prepared.
“Hakeem” better look out because sooner than later he’s gonna be replaced by a “Jose”.
I’m more concerned about a wrong address swat raid over anything else. Either they trust some asshole informant making crap up or they don’t bother to check a house number or street name right and that’ll ruin your whole damn life.
Or they cant tell the difference between okra and cannabis.
I worry that I’ll run out of ammo.
I carry two guns, I might run out of ammo, but I will go down with many bodies at my side.
Buy the way, shoot one and the rest will run like hell.
They have made that mistake with other people with similar looking, non-pot plants.
