Molten salt breeder reactors using thorium would be grand. The US had an experimental MSR operating in the 60’s. It’s operation was a success and no major show stoppers were identified. It’s a real pity that this technology wasn’t pursued back then.

This makes me wonder what ever happened to the Hyperion small-scale 25MW nuke power-generator from several years ago...

The Earth will run out of hydrogen.

It will turn into helium and escape into space.

Not if we catch it in a whole bunch of rubber balloons. Then we could get together and get drunk and inhale it and read DU posts in Donald Duck voices.
