Even that isn't enough. Anyone who left those countries less than three weeks earlier (including healthcare workers) should not be allowed in the US. That includes government employees and ALL US citizens.
What country in the history of the world intentionally brought a pandemic disease into its borders? Bringing Ebola out of the infected areas was and is INSANE.
We need to ban traveler’s from effected countries by canceling their visa and not issuing more. US Citizens and Green card holders can still travel here, but will need to be screened. That will minimize the chances of sick travelers making it here.
Well obviously those people must suffer from white privilege because after all, we should all embrace Ebola and give it a big bear hug

My point was this was a stupid poll asking people if they wanted to ban something (flights from the affected countries ) that doesn’t exist.

Or, are you proposing that the only ones allowed into the country travelling from the affected countries are US Citizens and Green card holders?

Unfortunately, we ain’t seen nuttin yet. Just wait until flu season hits to see what a completely paralyzed nation that battens down the barricades REALLY looks like as millions have symptoms that are much like how Ebola starts off! The trenches of our medical system are woefully unprepared for something like this. And thank you, President Obola for your “fundamental transformation” when flu season hits! Oh, and PLEASE let’s keep those West African shuttles flying back and forth, since obviously it would do no good anyway with your open borders policy. Oh, and everyone? Be sure to vote a straight Democrat ticket in November: they really DO care about you folks, ya’ll hear? After all:

Since when has Obozo given a tinker’s damn about what the people want. They wanted the federal government to stay out of their health care and look what that got them. They want the borders secured and illegal aliens sent home and look what the got them.
It doesn’t matter what Americans want anymore. Most of us want the borders closed, too.
Follow the money. If the airlines wanted, they could stop those flights today.
Tell that to our president and the man who wants to be our president.
There is no question that Ebola is airborne - on international passenger flights.
What better way to expose yourself to EVD than by close face-to-face breathing contact with and the patting-down of exposed, potentially contagious West Africans departing and transitting daily across airports, some of them ‘ebola-flight’ escapees knowing of their symptoms or potential symptoms, having suppressed their temperature with ibuprofen and lied about not having been exposed to confirmed EVD patients, so as to obtain superior care in an American hospital: it’s only a matter of time until a symptomatic African, European or TSA security agent finds herself hauled off to lock-up in quarantine after having been thoroughly touching all of the likely source of contamination, the passengers’ blouse or shirt.
Just wondering...
Don’t we have a travel ban to Cuba? All Cuba needs to do to lift the ban is have a few people come down with Ebola.
