Were you in the jury room?

There was a trial even though Stewart wasn't indicted?

Ward was driving a race car and could have killed someone else. Everyone is more safe with him as a hood ornament.

Dammit. That would've made a good defense.

A jury of Tony Stewart fans would've bought that hook, line and sinker.

I wouldn't put it past Stewart to have done that.

I think that says more about you than it does him.

Sounds like the verdict would have been the same whether Ward had pot in his system or not.

Stupid is often fatal.

There was a grand jury hearing. Were you there? How much of the testimony did you hear? How much of the evidence did you review? Did you confer with the jurors? Or are you just another NASCAR fanboy who has some other driver’s Fathead on his bedroom wall?

Actually, I’m opposed to any sports “hero” getting away with homicide regardless of which “sport” they engage in.

DON'T DRIVE OR STAND WHILE STONED ON A TRACK DURING A RACE.

There's a youtube from some lady that analyzes the video and shows repeatedly, Ward grabbed onto Stewart's foil and held on until dragged/pulled under.

Ward committed suicide by sprint car

So the fact that the grand jury took 2.5 seconds to dismiss the case only proves that Stewart was guilty?

Face it. Your boy’s a killer. Just be happy he didn’t kill one of your kids.

That may be, but it doesn’t apply here, unless you have some information that wasn’t presented to the grand jury.

The Grand Jury IS a trial (of sorts) to determine if there is enough evidence ... EVIDENCE ... to BRING the case to trial.

The defendent is never present

Regardless of what the Grand Jury decided, he killed another human being. Just be glad it wasn’t one of your kids.

Either way, he’s still a killer. He shouldn’t have been that high up the track under a caution.

He simply could have settled the issue after the race like a man behind the stadium with Mr. Stewart. His little outburst in the middle of the race track is a symptom of the society at large. In the past the drivers and a other men would have settled this and went for a drink later.

Okay. You are driving to work one morning down the interstate. A smoked up kid comes running out in the traffic and confronts you in your speeding car. You hit him and kill him. Don’t forget to tell the cops it was all your fault.

Nope. Wasn’t there. Regardless, Stewart shouldn’t have been that high up the track under a caution.
