Go figure! I was surprised, too...

My wife has the TV on “Four weddings” so I have to resort to the local radio on the headset...

Smartest thing Beck has said in awhile. I still liked him best when he was at Fox. He’s lost that edge that used to drive the libs nuts. Go Cruz! Drive the GOPe and the other Democrats nuts!

“..I am an old Reagan-era guy who is still wondering what happened to my country!..”

What happened?

Exactly what Reagan said was happening, and would happen, way back in 1964...

I wonder what Beck’s angle in all of this is...

I hate to be so cynical, but this is an effect of watching Beck’s rolling implosions over the last 8-10 years.

I don’t care for Beck all that much, but I do appreciate his saying this, if he moves in this most positive direction and is consistent, (I have strong doubts) I might be willing to listen to him.

Glen must have changed his medicines. The new ones seem to be working a lot better than the old ones.

Cruz is not my very top pick (she’s not running as far as I know), nor is he my second pick (I’ll keep that to myself). Still, he’s actually running, he’s a genuine conservative with no major flaws, and he’s electable. I will be supporting him, even if someone I like better who is less electable runs too, and I hope conservatives will unite behind Cruz. Instead of splitting our votes and allowing the insiders to unite behind another McCain/Romney RINO, we should unite and watch as the RINOs split their votes between Christie, another Bush, and Rubio.

Beck will stab Cruz in the back as Romney gets closer to run.

“Cruz is taking it straight to the people on Main St, AND taking it to his colleagues in both Chambers, like Reagan did.”

Cruz is also taking it to Hillary and her backers!

This article ran in the FREE BEACON the afternoon before the epic confrontation!

“Cruz Headlines Conference Featuring Hezbollah Supporters”

“Conference funded by controversial Clinton donor”

http://freebeacon.com/national-security/cruz-headlines-conference-featuring-hezbollah-supporters/

Sen. Ted Cruz (R., Texas) is headlining a conference on Wednesday funded by a controversial Clinton donor that will feature pro-Hezbollah and pro-Assad speakers in Washington, D.C.

The “In Defense of Christians” summit is a gathering of Middle Eastern Christian leaders that seeks to raise awareness about the threats to Arab minorities from ISIL.

However, critics fear several of the speakers will try to use the event to bolster Washington’s support for the Syrian regime in its ongoing civil war and help Bashar al-Assad restore his legitimacy and power.

The roster of speakers includes some of the Assad regime’s most vocal Christian supporters, as well as religious leaders allied with the Iranian-backed terrorist group Hezbollah.

Other Washington policymakers scheduled to attend include Sen. Debbie Stabenow (D., Mich.), Rep. Darrell Issa (R., Calif.), and Rep. Brad Sherman (D., Calif.).

“Some Members were unable to participate as originally scheduled,” the conference’s spokesperson Joseph Cella told the Washington Free Beacon. “Considering the number of speakers we have, this sort of thing happens.”

Funding for the conference was provided by Clinton donor and Lebanese-Nigerian billionaire Gilbert Chagoury, according to organizers. The wealthy businessman pledged $1 billion to the Clinton Global Initiative in 2009.

Cruz is my first choice. I think he’s weak in some places but there is one area in which he stands head and shoulders above anyone else out there. I watch him speak and there is no doubt in my mind that he means exactly what he says, and he says exactly what he means. I never have had to sit and wonder about where he really stands. That’s refreshing and something you seldom see in a politician. That builds trust, and trust is important in leaders. And that’s primarily why he has my vote.

Sixteen years of conservative bliss would mean 8 years of Cruz and 8 years of whoever he picks as his running mate. It won’t be Palin.

Cruz maybe, but any thinking of Cruz / Palin would be a winner is simply not correct. That ticket would almost certainly be a resounding loser.

Glenn Beck is crazy so I clearly cannot take the candidate in front of him. But the GOPe is populated by criminals and scoundrels, so I clearly cannot take the candidate in front of them.

He said 1 or 2 weeks ago that Hillary would win so not sure why he cares who runs against her.

I am an old Reagan-era guy who is still wondering what happened to my country!

Sorry, but it was taken over by Ronald Prescott Reagan and his allies.

I think Cruz could possibly win in TX in 2016 for President but not in AK with our without Palin.

Beck did not support Romney until after Romney won the Primary. Take a look back through the threads here and see how many rabid Romney supporters live right here on FR.

Beck threads are as devoid of rational discourse as Apple threads.
