A seventeen year old boy in Memphis faced a nightmare while he was working a shift at Kroger. A mob was attacking people in the parking lot. This thin teenager tried to run but was caught and pummeled into unconsciousness, then viciously kicked and beaten as he lay helpless. As is the custom these dark days, bystanders caught it on video, which was posted to the Internet and picked up by local television.
Todd Starnes reported on this for Fox News:
The thug who attacked Mr. Sausers son is a teenager with a lengthy criminal history. So far 11 people have been arrested all under the age of 19-years-old. Most are facing felony charges. Police have said the attack does not appear to be a hate crime because not all of the victims are white.Oh, but it is a hate crime.
Mr. Sauser said he saw something else in that video rage. What kind of society have we created when a crime motivated purely by hate, anger, rage, by a group of thugs enjoying inflicting harm on othersno better than the worst barbarians and war criminalscant be called a hate crime because of the color of the victims? Can thugs walk freely through our streets and as long as they beat a token black along with whatever other victims they hurt, they are immune from the stricter penalties of a hate crime?
Hold on, they got a white dude, the person filming said.If its got to be solely about race to be a hate crime then weve rolled back 144 years of progress since the 15th Amendment, and were reliving Dred Scott.
A mob of thugs of any color randomly beating an honor student looking to make extra cash with a paying job, and mercilessly playing knock out with whoever was unfortunate enough to be in their sight, is the definition of a crime motivated by hate. Hate for people. Hate for decency. A moral crime of evil thats turned away by a technicality based on skin color is just as racist as Eliza Irene Emerson, the slave owner who refused to grant Dred Scotts emancipation. A justice system that supports this technicality is just as complicit as the Supreme Court under Justice Taney, which denied Scotts standing to sue.
Despite the fact that one of the teens who attacked Saucers son has a long criminal history, and the others are likely facing felony charges, they are protected from any Federal laws dealing with hate crimes, or violations of the boys civil rights. Thats because our government is tilted one way: a hate crime must be white on black (or straight on gay), and civil rights can only be denied to minorities.
It is a cowardly outrage if this brazen display of savagery is not prosecuted as a hate crime. Shelby County DA Amy Weirich should find a way to charge these men, as adults, with a hate crime. If she cant do it, she should be ashamed, as should we all.
No seventeen year old bag boy at Kroger should fear for his life in his employers parking lot. If our society is no better than that, we should be listening carefully as the Visigoths march across the Rubicon, for we are surely doomed to suffer the fate of the Roman Empire.
Weigrich is up for reelection this November. She better do right
The DA and the police chief said no evidence of a hate crime before they even interviewed the suspects! Now thats what I say is the beginning of a crap investigation.
Now one person injured was black but those injuries happened because he tried to help the white victim. His helping angered the black mob who targeted only white people.
I’m tired of the double standards and its so obvious here.
Here is something that police are NOT encouraged to do when interviewing victims of black on white crime...
“Did you at anytime before, during or after the attack remember the use of any racial epitaths used against you or any other party?”
In a radio program yesterday, an interview with the mother of the mean teen said he had anger problems and mentioned in the same breath that his dad “ Don’t come around.”
He is probably coming around at another address.
Racial epitaph: "The dear departed was OK for a white guy."
When is the refusal to recognize a hate crime a hate crime itself?
Things like this is why concealed carry is so important.
There was also another attack same area. Story here:

There are sections of Memphis like Detroit no sane person would go with out their carry piece. Orange Mound is one. BUT if you’ve never been to Memphis you don’t know where it is located, as it is a set of Blocks termed Orange Mound. Not a specific on the map place. You don’t go there even in the day time with out a gun. This area of Popular where the 2 crimes went down, is not in what is termed a ‘bad neighborhood’.
That is the opposite end of Poplar which houses the Shelby Co Jail down town. and 92% of those inmates being held for trial are black, a few hispanics and fewer whites. 201 Poplar it is referred to.
Not to be confused with the Memphis Penal Farm which is a 11 month 29 day prison. 85% recidivism rate. 30 day serve time. Petty felonies, they ‘winter over’ or if they need health care free. These are the ones that commit 30-60 felonies in a life time. Plus the chronic DUI, which serve time on the weekends.
hahahahahaaha.....
The only places I don’t carry are those that are illegal to do so (but I am tempted) and at work. But I do keep it in the car while inside.
Restricting carrying makes no sense to me. If the gov’t can restrict one right, who’s to say they can’t restrict them all? What is it about “inalienable” that they don’t understand?
in·al·ien·a·ble
adjective
unable to be taken away from or given away by the possessor.
Want more evidence of a double standard? Read “White Girl Bleed A Lot” by Colin Flaherty. He presents a well documented discourse of the double standard that will make your blood boil. Yet the standard continues, endorsed by politicians and liberal media, for fear that someone might be labeled a “ racist”.
The double standard will continue as long as the public allows it to continue.
It needs to be exposed with a strong bright spotlight of truth.
It jus a lil whoopass.
My younger brother was stationed in the Memphis area during the ‘90’s and wads attacked by a bunch of other than Cauacasions. He was in the Beal Street area and was beat pretty badly. The next night, a few of his Devil Dog friends went a took care of business.
That is one of the few areas of the country where I felt the racial tension as soon as I would step off the plane. I hated travelling there.
This can not be a hate crime. If it is and the white folks do not riot and rampage and destroy the neighborhood, then the question eventually has to be addressed is why do the blacks do so after a “hate crime”.
