Leave it to Barack Obama’s own former secretary of state to acknowledge the fatal flaw of his foreign policy: a total absence of strategic thinking.

Mind you, Obama does deploy grand words proclaiming grand ideas: the “new beginning” with Islam declared in Cairo, the reset with Russia announced in Geneva, global nuclear disarmament proclaimed in Prague (and playacted in a Washington summit). Untethered from reality, they all disappeared without a trace.

When carrying out policies in the real world, however, it’s nothing but tactics and reactive improvisation. The only consistency is the president’s inability (unwillingness?) to see the big picture. Consider:

GWB listened to his Generals and approved their Strategy of “Shock and Awe.”

GWB then re-read his Harvard Political Science class notes and proclaimed “We won’t stay a minute longer than the Iraqi PEOPLE want us to stay.”

This news told the Arab Street exactly what they had to do to cause the USA to go home, willingly.

Harvard Motto: “Enter with guns blazing, then CUT your losses and RUN away if “the rescued” fight back.”

Fellow Harvard Grad BHO agreed with GWB, and Shock and Awe slowly morphed into the current CUT and RUN Military disaster of BHO’s Pentegon.

BHO went one step further by announcing a precisely timed beginning and ending of US Military fighting, US Opinion Polls permitting, of course.

“No US Boots on the Ground” was the best verbal promise that B. Hussein Obama could possibly have given to the true Barbarians on the Arab Street.

The top Iranian leader has already called for increased breeding, ( “bed dancing” for those with tender emotions), in his part of the future Caliphate Empire.

BTW, the defeat of America in Iraq was a Bi-Partism effort by the dynamic Harvard Duo residents of the White Hut.

When will the Arab Street stop celebrating that America no longer allows its Military to WIN Wars?

Certainly not as long as there is a Harvard Grad. in the White Hut.

BTW, BTW, should attendance at Harvard be a disqualification for a candidate running for any elected Federal Office?

This column which falls just short of accusing Barack Obama of supporting Muslim Brotherhood in connection with Gaza, follows in the wake of the accusation mounted yesterday by former representative Alan West that Barack Obama consciously supports Islamicists.

Fortunately for Alan West, he shares a melatonin count similar to Brack Obama's which tends to immunize him from now shopworn charges of racism for criticism of The First Black President. But Alan West is a man of demonstrated moral as well as physical courage so he need not hide behind an accident of nature.

Barack Obama, however, has been hiding behind his skin color all his academic and public life. It is time more Americans held him to account for his traitorous foreign policy which is daily surrounding America with swelling peril. It is healthy that a a person of stature like Alan West has uttered the truth as he, and I see it and have seen it since before his inauguration.

Barack Obama is a communist and a narcissist who is at least sympathetic to the Muslim brotherhood and aggressive Islamicists who wishes to destroy America as it historically and currently exists. This truth has now finally emerged from the blogosphere and become part of the conventional discourse. Is it too late?

I am reminded of your stupidity around 0bama when he was elected. You said 0bama would rule as a moderate. It took some time, but you, and your friend, George Will, both came to understand that 0bama was not what you both thought he was, but, instead, what Rush Limbaugh and the rest of us knew him to be. You took back your prior words upon realizing this.

Now, you gone right back to your misjudgment and stated you believe 0bam is not thinking strategically around the world. Really? This is what your mind comes up with?

You're a tool, Charles! 0bama does not care one iota about America's short or long-term standing in this world other than to destroy all of our credibility with allies, while funding and providing intelligence to our prior enemies (which are still our enemies). You have failed to see 0bama as a wolf in sheep's clothing!

Hopefully, you retract this infantile view of 0bama and again realize you either don't understand the true evil 0 is, or you misunderstand his true intentions.

Really, this is now becoming tiresome. Pull your head out and please dose yourself with a pinch of reality. The time for believing 0bama cares about the America you do has passed.

Hello Nathan...good post and interesting to read as always.

I tend to think BO has no defined loyalties at all. He seems to swing with the breezes within his party and any who might be trying to pull his strings.

He doesn't seem to me to have any gut held beliefs nor ideas other than to somehow hope everybody just loves everybody until he's done doing the job he wants to.....no matter if it makes him look like a Communist..a Muslim or whatever....he is simply a political machine with buttons to push.

I see the man as essentially a narcissist who has seized upon a peculiar admixture of communism to provide himself with a worldview. His communism is peculiar in that it is a mixture of black liberation theology which we saw evidenced in his Association with Reverend Wright and more orthodox black Chicago style communism which we saw evidenced in his Association with his mentor Frank Marshall Davis and later in his associations with the black elite in Chicago.

The communism supplies him with a philosophy which supports his narcissism. I think aquila48 has kindly provided us with a good working definition of narcissism and it lists several characteristics which fit Obama right up and down the line. Obviously, Obama has some sympathies for Islamism in general and The Muslim Brotherhood in particular, witness his active support of the infiltration of his administration by The Brotherhood. It may be that his sympathy for Islamism is merely opportunistic because it furthers his socialist goal of tearing down America to clear the path for his utopian "transformation."

Whatever the particulars of the ideological mix which together leave us with a feckless foreign policy, I believe the key to understanding Obama the man is to see him as a narcissist who has found life-support through the communist philosophy of the likes of Saul Alinsky and Frank Marshall Davis with an overlay of black liberation theology and sympathies for aggressive Islam. In other words, Barack Obama is a man of limited personal achievements despite his meteoric rise to the summit of national power. He has gotten there feeding his narcissism by exploiting his skin color and his ability to manipulate people which he has done in every context in which we have seen him but where we have never seen him produce actual work product.

He sells a wonderful package typical of narcissists but there is no there, there. If we take away his leftist theology he is truly a hollow figure, actually an empty pathetic figure of a narcissist without a protective exoskeleton.

It has long been Obama’s desire that American supremacy be destroyed as completely as possible.

If you want to understand Obama’s motivations, ask yourself, “What would Satan Do?”.

The answer explains everything he has done and ever will do.

What skill sets did he pick up as a college professor (non-tenured), a state representative, a community organizer, and a one-year US Senator (all of 2008 was campaign period)? If you look at the resumes of the past dozen presidents....he’s probably the least qualified guy. Of all Presidents....he might be almost the least qualified guy for the job.
