I’ve heard from a couple people that Romney’s court appointments [as gov] were just as bad when it came to judicial activists. Then there’s also the ridiculous notion that the Republican party would “hold his feet to the fire” — if they, the “opposition party” can’t be bothered to oppose the current president what make you think they would oppose the president when he’s “their president”? Additionally there’s the “issue waivers to all the states”-plan that was/is extreme folly: doing so would institute a convenient method for extorting the states: “You’d better do what I want or you’re going to have to implement ObamaCare”.

Obama and Romney’s stances are virtually identical on: abortion, taxes, homosexual marriage. So, yeah, I see no real advantage to have Romney instead of Obama.

You might not like to admit itm but the plain truth is this: there is no difference between the Republican and Democrat parties; virtually none of the crap that’s going on could go on if the Republicans in congress opposed it. This includes vigorously pursuing and punishing executive agencies that do evil (Fast & Furious, IRS’s political targeting, NSA’s domestic espionage, EPA’s regulatory terrorism, etc) — the simple explanation here is that THEY ARE IN ON IT. That this is their will, and their mouthed/mimed protests are only for show.

You preferred to vote for the Republican useless leftist POS whose election would have destroyed the Republican Party as well as furthering the destruction of the nation. Most of the other Low Information Voters chose the other useless leftist POS Obozo generally because they thought he would give them "free" stuff. That choice would further the destruction of the nation but leave the remains of the GOP somewhat intact and with some minimal potential to be overhauled top to bottom to reclaim the Republic.

Actual conservatives refused to choose either useless leftist POS and left it to the Republican stooges and the Demonrat stooges to fight one another for the opportunity to destroy America. Before we even get to theological differences, Willard’s problems were those of character, ethics, honesty and ideology, all of which were disqualifiers. If we had Candidate X running for President who was, say, a Hindu who possessed the positive qualities and was strong on the Constitution, I would vote for them despite not sharing their religion. About the only groups I would not vote for would be Mohammadans (for obvious reasons), Scientologists or other cults.

Despite your disagreements with Mormonism, would you not support some of their candidates (such as Mia Love & Mike Lee in UT), based on their ideological stances ? Just curious.
