Police risk their lives and their jobs every single time they walk up to a stopped car. Is that why they like to shoot dogs? To, y'know, help relieve the stresses of the job?

It’s a shame that we become anxious when we see a cop. And not because we’re doing anything wrong. But because we know the cop may do something wrong to us.

Police risk their lives and their jobs every single time they walk up to a stopped car. 30 cops were killed in the line of duty last year.
300 civilians were killed by cops last year - many innocent.
I think citizens' lives are more at risk when an armed man in a costume stops them on the roadside.

Is there anyone in Miami who should have known better than this IA guy?

I love how the arrogant prick got thrown on his ass. Beautiful thing. Hopefully it will happen metaphorically as well. POS.

Some folks have to actually work for a living and some folks consume large quantities of donuts and face a slightly greater risk walking up to cars than from the donut fueled heart attack, or while drawing down on the sacrificial dogs.
regarding this thread, cops have always gotten away with murder, so to speak, in one degree or another. They’ve got a secret handshake or something.

As the two were on the ground wresting, another three Miami cops who just happened to be in the area pulled up and piled on the screaming driver only to pull off when they realized the man at the bottom was an internal affairs lieutenant from their own department. But according to movies and TV internal affairs guys are despised by all the rest of the cops. What's going on here?

I graciously accept my award, Thanks so much. Maybe next year, I’ll get a gift card from (where else?) TARGET.

“I’m an IA lieutenant and you’re a patrol officer” strikes me as a pretty lame reason to risk getting injured.
