Media report that protesters gathered in Kiev on Sunday to voice their anger at President Poroshenko's truce with rebels. Around 8.000 people came to Maydan central square. From myself I shall add that it was not just protesters, there were many self-defence units and commanders of battalions who warned president openly that he going to repeat fate of former president Yanukovich if he won't do what he promised and also they warned that action on Maydan on Sunday was last peaceful gathering.
Today so called truce coming to an end and gas addicted eurocrats must come up with the sanctions against Russia. There probably will be another round of useless symbolic sanctions having no impact on Russian economy. All efforts of impotent and helpless EU leaders look laughable. A countries who joining together just for economic benefits what good they can do? Conglomerate with no idea is really miserable and self sacrifice of Ukrainian people who died in pro-EU protests could really revive EU. Just let this stream join EU and it will give you fresh blood, new ideas, emotional story of people coming back to European family after 750 years parting.. Obviously once again this opportunity will be wasted by stupid and greedy eurocrats.
Sounds like The Right Sector (Nazis) are going to overthrow Poroshenko also. Wouldn't that be ironic.
This is just more proof of my theory that Ukraine is ungovernable, that it cannot survive as constituted without massive and permanent outside assistance, and that the Kiev regime will self destruct without any direct intervention on Putin’s part. We are living in a new age of Balkanization throughout the world in which suppressed cultural enmities are tearing multicultural societies apart. I don’t believe Kiev can subdue all of the oblasts east of the Dnieper River.
