Democratic Underground banned someone for making the following post about Obamacare

A crazy person who lives in my apartment building recently made the following post at Democratic Underground:

Harry Reid exempts some of his Senate staff from Obamacare exchanges

http://news.yahoo.com/harry-reid-exempts-some-of-his-senate-staff-from-obamacare-exchanges-192925037.html

Harry Reid exempts some of his Senate staff from Obamacare exchanges

One of the biggest public supporters of the Affordable Care Act has reportedly decided that some of his staff should be exempted from the new law.

CNN reports that Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid is the only top congressional leader to exempt some of his staff from having to buy insurance through the Affordable Care Act exchanges.

The offices of Ron Wyden, Tim Johnson and Barbara Boxer, all Democrats, said they were exempting some of their staff.

The text of the post has been deleted, and the person who posted it has been banned. The reason for the deletion and ban states:

A Jury voted 6-1 to hide this post on Wed Jul 2, 2014, 01:15 AM. Reason: This post is disruptive, hurtful, rude, insensitive, over-the-top, or otherwise inappropriate. When the original post in a discussion thread is hidden by Jury decision, the entire discussion thread is automatically locked so new replies cannot be posted.

So, according to Democratic Underground, pointing out that Harry Reid and three other Democratic Senators who supported the passage of Obamacare have exempted some of their own staff is “disruptive, hurtful, rude, insensitive, over-the-top, or otherwise inappropriate.”

“Hurtful”?

“Rude”?

“Insensitive”?

Apparently, the people who run the most popular Democratic message board on the entire internet insist on being hurt and offended by… the truth!

On one of the FOX news talk shows yesterday, someone actually said they are surprised no democrat in the Congress has stood behind the notion the president is usurping their authority. Of course not, that group of crap known as the democrat party is monolithic in their disdain for liberty and individual freedom.

Sometimes on Democratic underground you’ll see that everything one person posts as comments are wiped out because they weren’t following the party line. This upsets all the nice Democrats and they complain. Whether it’s true or not is of secondary importance to its political correctness.

Yeah, I posted on the rabbit cage science experiment thread years ago, not at all in a provocative or rude manner, just questioning the validity of the experimenter’s conclusion and got banned.

Same thing happens on FR when the Viking Kitties strike does it not? Kind of the nature of forums.

Having seen a lot of people here ride the lightning bolt I not sure how we can criticize another site for doing the same.

Not really. I’ve compared the two, and very often are Democrat points of view posted, so that basically the rest of us can ridicule it. But nothing is really suppressed unless it’s just plain untrue.

I miss PJ’s “Dummy Funnies”. It was a great insight into the minds of young perverted Marxist kids.

Well, I suppose I'm not exactly surprised, but it does kind of hit like a punch that, unlike in 1937 and 1974 the President's party SUPPORTS usurpation.

It's a coup.

-- someone actually said they are surprised no democrat in the Congress has stood behind the notion the president is usurping their authority --

Par for the course, for Congress as a whole. Congress prefers to shift its duties and responsibilities to the executive and judicial branches. Both parties. What would be a surprise would be Congress standing up for its authority.

Part of the problem is that they don’t have a lot of members there so it’s hard to refute the politically incorrect. So they must be banned. Also, the DUmmies do not update their stories anything like they do here at FR. “Breaking News” is often 3 days old.

But they voted on banning the 'hurtful' post......that's democratic!

They don't call 'em butthurt liberals for nothing!

It’s sort of like how the Flat Earth Society might ban you for pointing out that the sun’s angular diameter is the same everywhere one earth.
