I misunderstood. You are correct, a statement against interest is generally considered true, even from liars like the New York Times.
I am seriously thinking of doing exactly that. They pulled a stunt that ought to be political suicide, and we need to help insure that it is.
WKB and Black Agnes, I am still so furious and disgusted by the GOPe that I don't know what to think or how to act! We have all seen despicable acts by the GOPe but this takes the cake IMO. As another poster has stated, the GOPe has crossed the Rubicon! I will never go back. They can kiss my A**!
What do we do next? I don't know yet. I'll settle down in a few days, just not right now.

Well, I don’t think they were armed with billy clubs, like Black Panthers were, at the polling places during the 2008 elections.
